Wouldn't it be a time to arrange a finnish Elma meeting? This time a bit more concentrated to Elma playing...like our fellows abroad. Check their meeting reports and pictures at http://www.moposite.com/elmakuskit_kuski_meetings.php

The program of FEM would be .. hm, you say it. At least battles, multiplaying, internal level playing compos, style sharings etc. Alcohol, sauna, grilling if wanted. Suggest?

Five players would be enough to get the meeting worthy. I can list some people I can think they could join. Of course you're welcome to come eventhough I don't say your name here :-).

I myself would get a car so me, PeXi, Cloud, swos and Markku could start here from Oulu. Then driving to Raahe where lives Uube, Miguel, XyW etc. Tisk comes for 100% :P. mr, Jokke, onlis, Kumiorava, dz, team ., Karlis are already there in south. MP (lives in Vaasa so he can be taken to my car too if there's any space), Olliz, Ville J (also can come to Oulu first and then with us to south), Orcc, Rasu, Tapzu. Just say if there's more I forgot or if you're unknown kuski among us but loves Elma and want to come.

Swedes and norwegian people could join too, why not Elbono and Jeppe for example. Everybody is welcome (unless the owner of the meeting place refuses).

Place, that's the biggest problem. The souther, the better. Please offer one if you can.

Edit: about those people I listed. I haven't asked/told anyone of those about this but Tisk. So don't suppose that px/dz/x will come before they say it themselves.

Yeah, place is the biggest problem. I suppose about 5-10 people would fit in a normal house, but if more people would come, some better place would be required.

About timing, i guess best would be some weekend in the july or august

if its going to be "real" elma meeting, with known active players, im definietly coming

timing, for me propably only weekend is ok.
carrying own pcs ? don't think possible.. maybe with car (not mine, dont have one)

One PC for 2-5 people is kinda good. Only in battles more PC would be better. I can take mine at least (must delete WR recs first :-]). I don't think this is a problem if the meeting is in south Finland because people there can take their computers.

Maybe I'm able to get two cars if some my IRL (Tuska for example) friends would come also there (to do something else when we're meeting). So all willing people from Oulu, Ii, Tornio, Raahe can come with same group.

I'm able to come whenever, almost. Only 16.-20.7. is taken.

The caravan could go from Vaasa to Pori and Turku where Tisk, MP, psy could join, more there?

About alcohol (seems it's pretty essential issue):

It's not important at all (at least not for me :-]). Maybe the people who want to drink can go to bars to hang so the owner of the meeting place doesn't have to worry about them. Of course we can have the whole meeting without any alcohol if wanted, just share your opinions. Some of the possible participaters are younger guys so that's also one thing to remember.

Was talking with Kumiorava and Jokke in IRC.

Result: both of them could join in principle (of course if they are at home). Kumiorava isn't home from first of July to 23th so only the last week of July at home.

yes, I still remember what my dad saidt, but it was long time ago, many things has changed during my armymonths, so I don't think I can offer a house at the moment, but you never know what happens to my so called life after the army.....

Okej, a new solution for a place is that we rent a summer cottage.

The hut is located in Lammi, see the details here. About 130km from Helsinki. A map.

mr phoned to owners of the cottage and they said we could rent the place for first or second weekend of next month. The exact dates are 2.8.-4.8. and 9.8.-11.8. Which one is better?

One night in the house is 68e and two nights 136e (surprise) so if there was 10 participaters for one person the prize would be 14e, not bad.

Next we have to know who can come for 100% sure. Tell here, mail me, or in irc. Also I need your telephone numbers (Karlis', mr's, dz's, Tapzu's and Tisk's I already have if they are same.) We cannot rent the house before we know for sure the people that come, also we have to collect the money beforehand that none of us (organizers) doesn't have to pay extra. Remember the more come the cheaper it is. I think 15-20 is max amount of people and 5 is min. For 5 people the prize would be 136e/5 = 27e which is still acceptable.

So now tell if you can come for sure, throw me your tel. number and suggest a date that suits better for you.

The caravan I told about in earlier posts could be true so for those people (Oulu, Raahe, Tisk, Turku, Tapzu) there is a travelling possibility. From Helsinki, hmm. Karlis has a car but would he come and take with other dudes like Jokke, dz, Kumiorava etc? Keep on talking about those here.

Me, Tisk and mr will come for sure, both dates are ok for us. I can take a car and my computer, so can do Tisk and mr too (Tisk can't say yet whether he gets a car or not). So only two kuskis needed anymore to get the FEM happen.

Olliz lives in Imatra? Just pay some money for mr and he comes via Imatra to Lammi. Anybody else in that way? Tapzu could come with Tisk? Anybody else there?

Guess what. Seems like we'll have a special guest from Czech Republic, mrickx will join for 95% sure. Also IRK and Bobisek are possible participaters. Maybe you think the language as a problem. Hehe, maybe it is but luckily it so easy to speak Elma things: "wcup tim0rs?"

Now dz and Kumiorava really must come, also it would be nice if we get Jeppe and Elbono there, anyone who can get a contact to them?

dz is quite sure already, just waiting more people first.

I decided to write some possible program and events.

Battles, those same as in irc. Also different battles where everybody can play as long as he wants and the winner is the one who has the best time in the end of the meeting. So you can hoyl the level whole weekend or just when you have nothing else to do. I can do levels at least.

Internal level compos:
1) What time it takes to finish first 10 levels?
2) How many times you can drive through Head's pipe (or some else trick) our of 50 tries?
3) How many levels can you finish within one hour?
4) Etc. just suggest.

Multiplaying of course and flag tags. Also have you ever tried to play internal levels in a way where other player have gas, space and left and the other player brake and right buttons, it's fun I promise.

Elma quiz, I can make the questions.

More?

Should I suggest some non-computer stuff? Maybe not.

On sunday 4.8. at 9:00 EET could be a publishing moment of the first level of the World Cup 4. Not before because then the whole weekend would be one-level-hoyling (that wcup level) all the time.

Just noticed I haven't told here that we chose 2.8.-4.8. weekend to have the meeting, hopefully it suits for you.

I guess Abula is organizing some kind of quiz (tietokilpailu) and also making some levels to play for meet.

I think i could arrange a flagtag cup. I thought that good level for it would be moposites flagtag level 2 ( http://www.moposite.com/levels/flagtag/MOPOFT02.zip )
If there aren't much players, maybe everyone could play against each other for example 10 minutes and the winner is the one who held the flag longest or the one who won most personal matches.
If there are more players, maybe some other kind of cup system with starting divisions of few players and also a final

At least we have to notice that everyone can start with the flag as many matches as others, and that it's a bit hard to count the exact times that everyone held the flag, cause you can't stop playing after exactly 10 minutes of playing (I guess we could just take off the few extra seconds from the player that had the flag in the end.

If you have any suggestions, just suggest here
