Moved to General by request.

Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

Just bringing this post up from the previous page, because it wasn't visible earlier and some people probably missed teh. (dunno whotefak is 'ideas')
ideas wrote:sorry for bursting the bubble. lousku, you have many nice ideas, and the current application of that idea of yours is impeccable, although i must confess that i believe this is a bad idea. newspapers are to be thrown out and recycled after usage. old news are not interesting enough to anyone to justify such an effort.

efforts would best be spent elsewhere, for example over at

http://wiki.elmaonline.net/Main_Page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elasto_Mania

just for those two cents of mine to be dropped in.

Thanks Orcc, missed it indeed. Seems like another incarnation of Twipley. :)

As I said after you posted this, it will go hand-in-hand with the wiki. Going back in history in the same format I've been doing this year is not so much reporting old news as it is writing a history book. Dividing history month by month ideally is a type of time capsule. I partly agree in that the end result, although interesting, can't be worth the effort, but my inner Abula wants to do it for completeness.

Thanks for input!

Would contribute myself, if only I didn't have a dozen other unfinished projects already...
Good luck and hope you remain motivated until the end!

Lousku wrote:Abula now wants me to take charge of archiving everything related to Elma. The plan is to use the newly rehosted Elma Wiki and organize all the archived content on Moposite in there. Others can then easily add more things into the great archive. This will be a great resource for Elma Monthly, we'll just have to make it first.
I am very sad now. What about making it to... ehm... "my signature" wiki? Or do you find it bad or what?? If ppl REALLY started to care about scene, and helping to improve sites which CAN be improved, it would be incredible source of information. This wiki is like tons of other wikis related to dozens of other games. Why not to make it all here? ELMA WIKI n.o. 2
i can easily make Lousku to be co-admin.

Bigger update halfway done. Data for august update gathered. Head overloaded by a ton of RL shit. Update will possibly come within the next three aeons. I'm not giving up, just pushing this away from priorities until I have my shit together. That's most probably within 2 weeks, but I'm quitting these empty promises and self-inflicted deadlines which just don't work.

Nothing happened :/ Only a few hours of work to get it up to date but shit piles up and I'll see about it sometime later. Ambitious goals getting smaller. Currently most wishful goal: just finishing this year and forgetting the rest of the project.

Thenks for interest. <3
