If you came, which would be the best dates? Beer battles seem to be on Saturdays.

I have one problem: Elma is not working on my Win 8. Maybe I can boot to Live Ubuntu or something.

XP mode did the trick! Great! Thanks! Now only the laggy display & laptop and shitty keyboard left but at least I can play somehow.

Btw, I recently upgraded my systems from Debian to Win8. I've been playing everyday all these years except the last 1 month.

Good :) , try activating .NET Framework v3.5, might fix lag. You'll find it in control panel under Programs and Features, click on "Turn windows programs on and off". It will appear in the list somewhere, and then check it. It will then download it from internet.

Did that but not sure if it downloaded anything (one progress bar was there for 30 seconds).

Well, I don't care that much. Maybe someone can borrow me a computer for a beer battle.

Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade.

You can fix the laggy display on Windows 8 with windowed mode.

Now that the FEM is nearing the end (well, for me it already ended on Tuesday) I've been thinking about all the stuff that happened there and here are some of the highlights and funny moments:
  • Sing along moment with Orcc guitar and my piano
  • Beer battle, that was really fun and ofc even better because I won teh. Thanks axxu for coaching =)
  • All the crazy/stupid stuff I talked with Luther. He was so fun and always up for a discussion about anything and everything
  • Watching Hosp play Olliz levels live, talking about the styles with him and just having a nice chat
  • All the music mongoing with veezay, he was also very funny guy and it was really easy to talk with him, almost felt like I had known that guy for years.. crazy
  • Watching jon play some (FEM pack?) level and I was veeeeeery drunk/high and giving him some "tips" and wasting his time on some fps bullshit.. damn it was so funny now that I think of it.. sorry for that jon =-D
There were lots of other great stuff too, I can really say that I enjoyed my stay as much as one possibly could and all the mans were very nice people. Kinda shame that the first weekend was so crowded and it was pretty hard to find the time and place to chat with all the mans. Well, I am already looking forward to next meeting so will have to continue there then!
< roopemies> horror and frustrating and can't play, sounds just like you

I can give some pointers as well:

- Rode a bit over 1000 miles (1600 km)
- Boring rides, except for some twisties before Kauhava
- Shocking entry to the place: people are actually playing Elma and doing simply nothing else
- I was probably the heaviest there, other players are surprisingly skinny
- Whiskey was a little too much for beer battle
- Some fucker drank half of MY bottle of Jameson during the week, what was left that is (thanks for the bottle 8-ball!)
- Sauna was super good, as is expected from a wood burner
- All mans were very fun to meet
- Beard aesthetics award tie between Lousku and Luther, sick nice look

Next meet can be whenever, I'll always make time for this thing (hopefully).

I have a vague recollection I drank from that bottle. Which means I certainly owe you one next meet (if you're coming:)). Sorry for that, was a bit out of it
