Just make a copy of EOL folder and replace bs.dll and eol.exe

http://kopasite.net/up/3/how_to_use_this_tool.txt

if you want datafile to any of those recs i uploaded just ask

later edited these useful notes into the .txt:
- When you save a replay, a datafile with same name is automatically saved into the rec folder.
- hand animations are bugged. To make hand animations work you need to autoplay the full ride from start to end without fast forwarding. Fastest way to autoplay is to use maximum FPS with timer off.
If I don't have a .dat file and I have a rec for example 13B1395.rec, how do I make a dat file of this, so I can load it and drive the end of this run again?
Not possible with this tool or? I tried rename already existing .dat file to 13B1395.dat and F1+enter in replays menu, it did something but it didn't work..

Hey milagros could you maybe patch in a button that fast forwards to the last saved frame during autoplay? Would make creating recs for very long levs much more convenient.

While you are at it: could you also make f1 + enter not take a screenshot of the first frame which makes up for like 10 sec delay with a bigger resolution. (the constfps recording thingy is assigned to the same hotkey as .dat file load thingy)

changing anything abuot autoplay is not ez (fast forwarding for example).. it might be easier to actually fix the bug with rec events somehow
i wonder why i've never had that f1+enter problem..

I have request of making it work with Ropelli's ddraw.dll plz, can't achieve 999fps without having to use resolutions that make me suck (and when i use those in-game FPS increasing walls I loose sight of the min osv values.)

Also when I try to F1 + Enter recs that I have both rec file and dat file in the rec folder of, all that happens is screenshot and back to replay menu. Have done clean installs multiple times still doesn't work.

rec loading works like this:

1. F1 enter the rec in rec folder. it takes a screenshot for no reason.
2. go to level where rec is
3. f1 enter in the level to autoplay
4. ok

It seems to work on Windows 10. Now the question is, how do I change the keys for saving and loading?

http://kopasite.net/up/94m4793s4wrv2rr/34be3579.rec

play this, press f6 until at 30s and try to finish the level.

dev idias:

- Need a way to skip to the last frame of autoplay or advance quicker than 8secs a time (!!) (norm)
- Need even faster rec fast forwart for merging ends of long levels (!!) (norm) (elma)
- There should be one frame advance in real time playing, just like in autoplaying (!) (norm)
- Mega bike stretch should not cause internal error, maybe esc to menu instead (!) (bug)
- Going out of bounds should not cause internal error, maybe esc to menu instead (bug)
- Add timestep info for each frame in .dat for someone to make tool for reading fps used throughout ride

(elma) = elma problem
(!) = high priority inportant feature
(!!) = mega high priority ultra bestest inportantest feature of al time
(norm) = would help mega in norm playing
(bug) = would help mega in bug playing

Agree with all, but can use Elmanager/SLE for merging ends of long levs, and can merge many recs at the same time then as well. Used quite a lot during WCup, was very handy and not TOO inconvenient, but ofc would be najs to be able to do it in-game.

Re: True story behind 32tt project

in general, the problem with update is this:
since my old comp died and I bought a new comp with win7, I can't compile dll, so I stopped updating. Also I forgot, what exactly was the state - I was redoing multiplayer at that time and I don't know which one was the last working version.
So all the possible updates are changes in exe or for example changing the number of seconds for fast forward (adding new keys would be too painful)

Why unpossible to build on W7? Sounds like a fixable problem.

the problem was related to the borland builder 5.0 install, which i used for bs.dll
if i use different version / compiler, it would need some non-trivial changes in eol.exe
