Battling a level normally after one-life

Post by kuchitsu »

Should it be allowed maybe? I can't think of any strong objections, and sometimes I think it's a shame to "waste" a cool level on one-life even though I'm very enthusiastic about one-life battles.

Im against idea. Some ppl might hoyl lev after one-life battle and have advantage, that is unfair. So maybe just dont put too much efforts on lev :)

What if it's like immediately after the one-life battle? So only 2 mins to hoyl. And I warn about it in advance so everyone will know.

I agree with Kuchi. I think it should be allowed immediately after, but not any later.

Sounds like a bad idea to me. That's almost like starting a short FF as normal right after it was battled.
idk, different enough remix of one-life is oke, but i am againts starting the same level twice. Ppl always complain and it is just not worth it.

Yeah, doesn't sound like a great idea tbh... You can start it as number of finishes or something if you don't want it to run for 30s only :)

After most one-life battles in normal type levels many players stay in the level and keep hoyling anyway. So I'm kinda surprised some people dislike the idea...

Well, if a level is good then people stay hoyling after battle regardless of what battle type it is, but you don't start a normal battle after it has ended, do you?

I'm not totally against, but it would be battling the same lev in a row, which may create unfairness etc etc (all the reasons why you can't normally balle the same lev again). Having said that, I probably wouldn't complain if somebody did it, just not really sure if it should be legally allowed.

Good idea to allow this I think, because onelife balles are usually so short that it wouldn't really give a big advantage. Theer are longer onelifes, but they're rare and most pipel wouldn't use the time to get a significant advantage anywei...
then again i don't know anything

I probably wouldn't mind it too much but on the other hand I think it would have quite minimal effect on anything. There are so few one-life battles and I guess even fewer people would start them again as normal battles even if it was allowed. Or maybe changing the rules would boost the popularity of one-life battles, at least for a little while? Dunno.

I might start making more onelife balles actually. It would be a nice way to get players into your norm balle. Start with a short fun onelife challenge and then höyl it if enjoyed it. It wouldn't be very suitabel for all types of norm balle but some for suar.

I think we've got such a nice community that it's not a problem to do something "off" like sometimes rebattling one's battle when almost nobody played or this onelife before normal once in a while. As it may give some edge it should never be overused :)
