Merging Replays Project

I saw an interesting video tonight and I thought it could be applied to elma.

We learnt from Jappe2 that it is possible to merge 3 replays together in TEC.
What about a project to merge like one thousand replays? Could someone lead the project?

merging a thousand is totally stupid.

I mean, it's a 2d game. There is no need to merge a thousand replays, it would only result in a total mess.

btw: there is not a single level of which i have more than 20-30 replays.

my runreplay applet could do that but I think a loss of performances which will grow with the number of replays and biker's skin is quite bad...

and what append : 1000 replays = a split screen (completly stupid) or only 1 screen with a centered camera on the first replay (why not...)
