Elma Grand Prix 5 - RESULTS POSTED

Post by Ruben »

The wait has been excruciating, but now it's finally here!

ELMA GRAND PRIX 5

When
SUNDAY 28/05/17
18:00 UTC+1 (London)
19:00 UTC+2 (Oslo)
20:00 UTC+3 (Helsinki)
Countdown

General Information
For those who don't know or don't remember what Elma Grand Prix is, here's a short recap:
Over the course of an hour or so the contestants will be subjected to a number of short levels. At the end of each level points get awarded according to the table below. Whoever has the highest total of points at the end is the winner. The contest is completely contained within one evening, so no need to show up daily or weekly. All you have to do to compete is be there and drive the best times you can.

Elma Grand Prix 5 is challenging, stressful, and most importantly fancyboosted. Don't worry, it's not intrusive (or even necessary), just a little something extra here and there for those who have the patch.

Rules
Total event time: 82 minutes
Individual level time: 12 minutes
Number of levels: 6
Winner: Whoever has the highest total of points at the end of the event.

Points
1st - 20 points
2nd - 17 points
3rd - 15 points
4th - 13 points
5th - 11 points
6th - 10 points
7th - 9 points
8th - 8 points
9th - 7 points
10th - 6 points
11th - 5 points
12th - 4 points
13th - 3 points
14th - 2 points
15th - 1 point

Prize
Just like in the previous Elma Grand Prix', the winner will be awarded a picture I've found on the internet. Not the same one as any previous winners, of course.

WHAT! World Cup 7 barely just ended and people were supposed to get to enjoy their life again, and now you present THIS?! Absolutely ridiculous! I'm sure the levels will be even worse than in wcup! And I'm also sure I'll blay!

Shame if you miss it, but real life always takes precedence of course. Say happy birthday from me!

Honestly I cannot tell, you should probably ask Google. I've thought about devising some definitive tie-break rule, like whoever was already leading, whoever won the last round, whoever had the best position, whoever had the most podiums, whoever had the highest average position, whoever had the lowest tt, whoever is first in the alphabet etc. All of these come with pros and cons. I can't for the life of me figure out what Google does, but it doesn't really matter. Treat equal points as equal position, anything else feels unfair to me.
