Level manager - Updated 26.8.2009

Post by Smibu »

It's time to publish Level manager!

As of 28th December 2016, this has been integrated to Elmanager.

Newest update: 26.8.2009

Important: Be sure to set the options (level and replay directories) using Elmanager.

Features:

Main window:

-Search levels with many parameters
-List erroneous levels after search
-Duplicate level search
-Clear top10's from selected levels
-Delete selected levels (no confirmation, but levels will be moved to Recycle bin by default)
-Remove best time as bugtime from selected level
-Copy top10 list to clipboard - you can paste it anywhere from there
-Delete any times in top10's.
-Level manager tells after search if you have levs that have unused data in them. You can fix them all with a single click.
-Single/multi total time (of best times) shown for selected levels. Click the text to toggle it.

Level viewer - window:

-You can zoom in/out with mouse left/right click, and also zoomrect by holding CTRL, click and hold mouse, move it and then let go.
-Mirror level - button. You can save the level after mirroring with "Save level". New filename will be asked of course.
-Resize the viewer like any other window (except don't try vertically because the program checks only width and adjusts height automatically).
-Checkbox for smart zoom.
-Zoom also with mouse wheel (smart zoom option recommended with this).

Level manager requires .NET Framework 3.5 (may also work with older versions, not tested).

Note: I won't develop this program anymore because the code is really poor and it would be better to code this from scratch.

the function you have with Replay Manager, where it deletes any recs where you are missing the level. Does it have a similar function for this, where you can delete any levels that just cause 'internal error'?

This is Sick, ez GAA for contribution w/ programming, i love you Smib.

No, and that first version in the first post doesn't have that feature. I'll update this soon probably

The 10mins thing is kinda bad because there's levs that are much longer than 10mins

Update:
-Delete any times in top10's.
-Level manager tells after search if you have levs that have unused data in them. You can fix them all with a single click.
-Single/multi total time (of best times) shown for selected levels. Click the text to toggle it.
-Mirror level -function takes gravity apples into account.
-Not possible to edit search options during search.
-Checkbox for smart zoom.
-Zoom also with mouse wheel (smart zoom option recommended with this).

I'm 99% sure everyone has those "unused date" - levels (I had about 400 of them), so go and make a search!

Something that would be really awesome is some kind of levelpack function, where you can save some filename patterns (like: 0lp??.lev ect.), and have the option to "move to/from subfolder". So that you can have these levelpacks in their own subfolder when not using them, and when you want to play them just press the button to move them to the lev folder.

Then maybe also ability to choose something like "2009 levels (except those in a levelpack pattern)" and do same with those.

That would really make managing your levels so much easier :)

Yeah Kopa, I also think it would be a useful feature. However, as I updated in the first post, I won't develop this program anymore because the code is really poor and it would be better to code this from scratch and integrate to Elmanager.
