mIRC help!

i am kind of a n00b

i connected to different servers, and every time i typed /join #across i joined and was the only guy in the room! i didn't think it mattered which server i joined. what server should i connect to? i just selected one from the list that came when i opened mIRC

One that is IRCnet. You've probably connected to a different net.

i use one of the swedish servers, when i connect to moscow IRCnet server its never anyone there

i found a bunch of IRCnet servers, and every one of them kicks me off after like 5 seconds! saying i am unauthorized or something

Try copy paste the stuff it says/writes when you try to connect.

In the meantime you can use http://chat.ircnet.org/ =).

you can't do anything with that (did you cheat something there?:) )
choose different server (ask some other polish guys which one to use)

No. Mila, it's max strange, now it works....

I have found out that if my mIRC is installed in C:\Program Files, it works properly

But when it's installed in any other folder, it doesnt work, i think that it was caused by my stupid firewall, I'll write here answer after i will have found it completely out...

it says somewhere that it works only in folder without spaces, but it works for me, but it writes warning somewhere

when i'm on irc, it just disconnects for no reason at all. and when i try to connect again, it says my ip is blacklisted. this pisses me off so mother fucking much!

try irc.dotsrc.org, is more reliable than stealth
