Hot hot hot

Post by ElToto »

I don't know if people who look into the program can explain
why Elma takes 100% of the processor. And if yes, does anybody
ever tried to solve that problem ?

speak of milagros for example....

thanks, it could save my computer of a Elma-burning dead.
tomorrow, i stop.

If your computer isn't doing anything else while it's running elma, it's pretty natural that your cpu doesn't have to share it's resources so it will concentrate on elma 100%. It doesn't burn your processor don't worry.

That is, if the tempatures are in reasonable range of course...

well...

in fact yes, it does. Cause if i open a program that look
at cpu speed & use and watch them as graphs, it appears
that Elma take the whole power of my computer, as if
i was running a powerful 3D-engine under Java VM.

Ctrl+Alt+del;
run Elma for few mn (not too hard, hu?)
and look at these graphs. you'll see
tomorrow, i stop.

normal elma cruising makes my cpu hot from 50C to 75C, I find it very abnormal, anyone else has got the problem that Elma seems eating too much cpu power and producing much heat although tiny game it is?
<Pawq> at a gym you have only 3 options: 1. have your eyes closed, 2. stare at yourself, 3. stare at others, all of which are either super boring or disgusting

oops, disregard that, i was looking at cpu load while eol window (i play windowed) was inactive. Tested normally now, and it appears eol loads up one core completely.

Hot hot hot is my favourite level by Olliz. The greatest Levmaker in existence. Maybe Fuida second.

Just check your fps with fraps in vsync off case, and then we'll figure out what to do next)
