lol, absolutely nothing true in that, works with colors and with bmp and other some other formats, but i dont know what are specific requirements to make level without error

Maybe theres new version or sth. But i had to make picture black/white and save as .png...

Scale is one of the possibilities. It cant generate too big or too little level I think.

Too small pieces of polygons in some parts may be the main fault imho.

You can easily fix this problem by just saving it as a black/white png.

This won't help. Rad's levmaker doesn't make any difference between black and any other color except for white.
As I said, there are too small polygons that are hard to convert to the level.

I usually do it like this:
Note: This is just an example and not really perfect but you should get the idea.
Try to make it only 2 colours Black and White and then remove all those small details with a brush/pen tool.

that's cool. what prog do you use to make it black/white?

photoshop: usually I use grayscale and then I play with the level-settings on the layers.

google it if it's too hard

also, if i'm not wrong, you can do it using the simple paint.exe :

open your image
save as...
in the file-format combobox (below filename), choose monochrom bitmap, or whatever it is in english version
