Yeah I noticed a big difference when I downloaded the 1.2xp patch. I started getting better times on the internals too; cause everything was so much more smooth. Thats all I use now.

Now that i've downloaded the 1.2 patch it seems like i get much more bug bounces and stuff... not like in the other patches...
before i tried 1.2 i had experienced 6-7bugs in my 3-4 years of playing elma...
Now i've 1.2 i've experienced 3 bugs in a week :)

Abula mentioned that it fucked up some computer of a kuski. I reckon it wasn't due to the patch though.

Works fine for me. I tried all the other things to reduce the lag on XP unsuccesfully, but with Elma Xp.exe, it just easily removes all the lag. Smooth! I thrust it, and in addition if the game stops by bizarre means the thing it changes returns back to normal.

Screen problems

Post by Guest »

I have this wierd problem when im starting Elma.... For some reason my screen settings changes to totaly differnt values.... When I say screen settings, I mean those which you change with the buttons located on the screen.

This ofcourse affects Elma... When I start a level eaither the right or the left wheel is alot smaller.
The left wheel is smaller if the bike is located on the left side of the screen and the same with the right wheel if it is located on the right side... It locks as if the wheels has been squezed to a smaller size.
The landscape locks crazy aswell... It is as if you would have "extracted" the screen.. Hmm hard to explain...
Well this happend when i changed screen, and I have trayed to set the screen settings to its normal values, but it aint working.
Sounds quite crazy I supose... I'll appreciate all help I can get.

I'd appreciate some photo of that. A screenshot of course won't do. I can't seem to understand your problem.

Does it crash just when starting the editor? Or when performing a certain operation? What elma version do you have?

Furthermore, if RefreshForce is not working for you in a desired way, you can tryRefreshLock.

The main method is quite alot the same, get the monitor driver for your exact monitor and let the program set you the highest herzes. The main difference is that ReForce makes permament changes to the registery while ReLock only affects when the program is running, no registry changes are being done.

Maybe it's somewhere and I didn't see it, but what about the keyboard problems in Win XP? In Win 98 I can press 3 keys at a time, but not in XP. Can't figure the cause. Thanks a lot!

Ciprian i think that depends on how many keys your keyboard can handle, but yes it is very annoying.
