Imo too bad smiles here on lauta.

Only normal are , , :(

all other are strange imo :) , :D , 8O , (this is the most strange)

and I can't write ": D" without space.

it isn't very necessary, but pls change them

You can disable them in control panel - board preferences - enable smilies by default.

Ye, I also think it sucks when you can't write a text ": D" smile and are forced to use the graphic one. I like the smiles here but sometimes I feel like the text version conveys my feelings better. :-|

I hate it when everything I use forces my emoticons into emojis, I don't understand why they would ever do such a thing. Emoticons are ascii so they're universal, but an emoji can look like two entirely different things on different platforms. And they're ugly.

I hate technology.

Ah ok, there is an option to disable smiles when posting. :o

Luckily I don't even see most of the dumb emojis because I'm using Windows XP.

not useful to always disable/unable smiles.

(and, what if I want to write :D and :D in one post?)
oh, I did it :D)))
