My inbox is full: Page 1 of 2
[ 100/100 Messages (100%) ]

You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available.

nab forum :P

Well xiph, you also have space for 100 messages in the Saved messages folder.

The font used in the posts bugs me by the way. Should have the same font in the messages as in the board otherwise. Which is probably Verdana?

Seems like no more style suggestions, here is a summary:

Code: Select all

Divine black
brushed metal
StarCraft
Avalon Green (2)
AeroBlue (2)
Blue Moon
bo2Soft
Eliteblue
GreenGrass (2)
skymiles
(simpleDark)
(simpleLight)
Serenity
AcidTech Tiger
jumblies
overlord
prototype
PrototypeV2
ToxicNS
Hestia Green (2)
SubGreen
Someone make a poll, or Abula can just install styles with 2 votes

I HATE one thing, it's probably fixable but if so, how?

:

When we had old lauta the history was deset (or smthn) each time I left lauta, so that only topics in which new posts had been posted since my last visit was shown. That way, I could skip the topics I didn't want to read and they would still be marked as read next time I visited. The good thing about that is that I know where new posts have been posted since my last visit, and could easily ignore these replays and times, boring topics in non elma related etc. Now, however, I need to check every forum each time I visit lauta because this version of the forum saves history and shows all posts which I haven't read as unread. Understand? This is not goad :(

On the contrary, this is a good and welcome change. Here's what you can do: Every time you're done with lauta, click "mark forums read" in the upper right corner.

But for us who actually want to know easily which posts we have read and not, there was no possibility of knowing that certainly in the past. If for instance the computer crashed, or the browser, after you had opened lauta, then next time you visited it didn't remember that you actually hadn't viewed most of the topics.

i hate hate hate hate that the little document logo that's orange in a post you haven't read has moved to the right side of the post. it's so amazingly stupid, i wonder what the guy that made that change was thinking. it's idiotic not to have it in the left side where you start reading a post. this is driving me insane and at first made me want to quit lauta, i could of course think of other reasons of doing that too, though.

Agree with J-sim ofcourse, but disagree with niN, for the reason sveinr stated, how many times this has not occured to me, god, my browser crashing and no way of getting the unread posts back. Truly an improvement.

Btw, I'd still like to see this green. What's taking so long. :|

1. This should be green.

2. In user statistics I can see in what forum and what topic a user is the most active. But not for myself. I'd just like to know though, can someone copy/paste for me? :blushes:

I'm gonna have to ask the lauta crew, and by that i mean SveinR, once again to increase the pm limit, please. I'm getting tired of that 'release all on hold messages' message, and i don't think increasing the limit to maybe 150 will affect lauta that much, in a negative way, anyway.

Oh well, nothing major really, but would still be pretty nice. <3

well if they just increase to 150 it will help you for a little while, but then you have 150 and have same problem again, right (:

Then what about increasing it to 1500? 8) Or perhaps increasing the limit of the "saved" folder?

Anyway, I don't know if others share the same problem? If they do, please say so, since I believe the more people asking for it, the bigger the chance they'll fix it.

I do indeed delete several pms, however there are still a couple of conversations which I'd rather save. And I still don't see anything negative in just increasing the limit of saved messages.

Aaaah! Bangoing around can really pay off.

No need for an increased message limit anymore. Being the pro I am, I fixed it myself.
