Please keep feedback and similar posts in the Feedback section. Feel free to start a style discussion or ask for help with styles, fps or whatever in the IIT (Internal Index Threads) though!

Like Tigro said, the goal is to collect as much relevant info as possible about every internal and collect it in easy to browse threads. You can share personal experiences what fps is the best, ask for help with a certain trick or similar. The first posts in each thread will summarize the most essential info that has come up.

Will continue creating threads tomorrow. If someone could create hi-res maps of each level that would be awesome.

Top 10 dates make the times look a bit messy, maybe you should do something about the font to emphasize the times. Also with a little lower priority multi times and styles could be added.

I've noticed it looks messy and tried to correct it by making it into code, but then I couldn't create links to recs by clicking on the times.
Absolutely, multi times I could add later.

There is a function in BB code that allows you to make tables rather easily, but I don't think it's activated on lauta. Perhaps Abula could allow it in the IIT to allow for better formatting. To generate a table you can use some generator like this, or you can make them manually.

What would be in that TT topic? Just some TT stats? I could possibly add it at the top.

Evolution of tt, minute break history, biggest cuts and contributors etc. Would be useful stuff and fits in with the project imo.

Maybe you can put it in the bottom if you make it a normal post instead of global? Wouldn't like to have it on top.

it would be LOVELY to have all the old WRs downloadable (since they were shared some time ago). It is maybe a long-shot, but since the topics are sticky, they won't go away and ppl would appreciate it :)

Btw great work so far, John!!!

The more recs the better. Will start uploading recs and putting them into the right threads when all threads are up.

Like I've said, feel free to send stuff you wish to be added. I can come to IRC tomorrow if PM feels like too much work.

Anyone remember what program could paint lines for different recs in the same picture? Nice way of showing different styles in one post (instead of bunch of recs)

I could make gifs of certain styles to show in the topic, the only problem is that it might make the topics slower to load.

it's because of the trivia in johns post. I dont think it needs to be deleted, well, hard to draw the line was that discussion or feedback. But hell those are still supposed to have discussion and mika brought up a valid point that preca also has tied top

Hehe is oki with any fps i guess, but mid is much EZer with 100 fps. But you can't use 100 if wanne good run cause of bad bnc then on start part. With 200 fps you can get mid too but will be all random, so sometimes it will be ok, sometimes very bad, but you can get good bnc in start with it at least. If you set the fps bigger than 300 then you get nice bnc part but mid is still random and at least i can't get other parts smooth, i must say it will be like if you going in a rink at the brake parts. I play with 210 fps :*
You can use it up for hehe fps values. Nowadays i play with 180-200fps tho.

ez to make them, and just link them to kopasite or wherever, so they wont be directly in the topic, just linked. I support this idea.

Still looking for that program which draws a line of the movement for every rec you add. Want to use it for showing different styles and routes.

Hm, it might have been that program although I recall there was 1px thick yellow lines (easier to see diff lines) and that you could see multiple lines in the same picture. Very thick lines in this program. Also couldn't draw recs in internals, it just wanted me to find the qwquu-level all the time and although I had just created it it didn't work.

Mika, I changed your nationality in Tag but removed your post.

wat was the problem? I see two Mika players here, one rus, one swe. My mistake in flagging or not?

btw if anyone wanted to use those little flags, the url is always the same, just change the country code. Here are those I made already, netherlands have two codes, for NETherlands, and DUTch people. see denmark is DAN, not DEN.

Code: Select all

i reckon minimaps are just in beta version. but yes, the arrows determine the orientation of kuski at the start (always left).
When maps substitued with better ones, this wont be any issue.

I wonder the same. How about: this topic for general discussion about the form of the subforum, and the level topics for specific discussion of levels, including content suggestions for the first post?

Ah ye sure, but it'd be easier if they could be posted in the level threads themselves. I guess that'd make the step for posting a suggestion a bit shorter?

True, keep posting trivias and such in the threads then. But I'll remove the posts when the info has been added in the first post, simply to keep the threads easy to follow and "clean".

I don't think those relevant posts should be deleted. Otherwise we won't really know if anything was added to the first post. It's not like those threads gonna be overflowing with style speculation activity anyway.
