Dyrox, seems like you have absolutely no clue how much of heat Prescott processors do produce. Especially if the processor already works at 3,6 GHz there really isn't much you can do with air cooling. And omg, don't compare some AMD Athlon 1700+'s overclocking abilities against a 3,6 GHz Prescott.

i know, thats what I was trying to tell him. At 4.2 it is extremely hot, too hot for my liking. Also, the motherboard heats up, and is in some places too hot to touch.

What tempeture does your processor have right now?
60 degrees is no problem... and that shouldn't be too hard with fans...
You can even run 70 degrees...
Sorry Cloud, but Intel isn't my area... But I know about clocking... :)

Heres mine. I saved up my "barnbidrag" To afford it

Abit IC7-MAX3 Has 1 GB Network card inbuilt
Intel Pentuim 4 2,8 GHz
1024 MB RAM Dual 512 pc3200
Powercolor 9800PRO I have just bought a new coolingsystem from Zalman. Probably I will clock it some.
200 GB SATA 8 MB Maxtor 7200 RPM
DVD Burner 8x -Never used it to burn!
No floppy -I live in 2004
2 Blue LED fans, they are sooo noisy I'm gonna change them someday.
