Hey, It's halloween!

Post by Chris Penrose »

Just noticed that. Some little 5 year olds from across the road knocked on the door with frankenstein masks. I nearly crapped myself.
"Twick or tweet" they said. I gave them the cat as the treat. (A treat for me also. I have a rather retarded cat who attacks my leg whenever I walk past.) Anyway it turns out they're not as nice as they seemed. Kicked me right in the shins. Little buggers.
I was just wondering in what countries people have halloween...

It's becoming more and popular here (not a direction I like), like 5 years ago no-one cared about it, now a lot do. I blame American TV-series for this.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

Well I discovered America had halloween ages ago via The Simpsons.
The point of halloween has been lost here in England, (or at least in my neighbourhood) Now it's all about egging people's houses and throwing bags of flour about.
Strange thing, I always have the same nightmare about a tin of baked beans every halloween night.

-:
loss of money

small kids begging monet or candy
i just call my mom, and she´ll just give them candy
comercials, very annoying

yeah we have halloween in the US. Its kewl, as a matter of fact I went out trick or treating for first time in like 3 years.

I got lots of candy yumm.

people dont like when older people go trick or treating, they ask me,"arent yo to old to be trick or treating?" and i say, "shutup" (steal their candy and run)

I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without their motives being questioned.

I don't think halloween in America is about egging people's houses...but I could be wrong though

Scare little trick or treaters -

Wait for them to come, take a mouthful of cherryade and have ketchup on your clothes. Open the door and stare at them brainlessly and dribble the cherryade.

Hehe. It works, try it.

i've always liked the cool costumes, but the commercial side of it is a little bit too much. the amount of halloweencrap they sell in stores is incredible, even here in Finland where helloween is pretty new.
Blimey.

Your right Haloween is not for egging peeps houses in US
Thats why America adapted the holiday "devils night" which occurs the night b4 halloween. good thing because having two holidays in one is hard, not enough time to go TP peoples houses and chuck eggs at people put sugar in gas tanks stuff bananas in exhausts, shaving cream and bologna a car, light dog shit on fire on sumones porch break windows. need i say more.
