The Something Awful Forums are widely regarded as some of the best there are. Note that it costs $10 to register (believe me, it's well worth it). :]
If it wasn't for the registration fee and the strict rules leading to lots and lots of people being banned, those forums would've been absolutely freaking huge. Now they're just huge.
There're tons of larger forums out there, but they're often very messy. [/shameless advertising]

I'd say tijsjoris. All the three others are very unactive at the moment for different reasons.
