Your daily routines

Post by Igge »

I find that with the WC now going on my daily routine has been more set in stone than it has ever been before. I made this topic so you can share your routines as they are now and update them with how they change over time when something new enters your life. I also think it could be fun to go back in a year or two and see how things have changed, for better or for worse.

6:10 alarm sounds
6:30 get up, eat breakfast, brush teeth put in lenses etc.
7:00 leave house, bike to work
8:00 work
12:00 lunch
~12:20 table tennis
13:00 work
17:00 bike to gym
17:30 gym
~19:00 bike home
~19:15 shower, eat in front of computer while browsing and checking forums
~20:00 WC
~23:00 go to bed, read
~24:00 fall asleep

Obviously not all times are set in stone (although some really are). Sometimes I'll skip the gym or table tennis, and on Mondays I'll watch the latest episode of Breaking Bad, but this is pretty much the average day for me. I'm actually feeling a bit uncomfortable writing this down as I realize how pre-planned by days actually are, but still, living this way is my choice I guess, and I should consider myself lucky I even have a say in it.

So what about you? How does your day look?

Nice topic, I like reading about such stuff. Me and a few other elmers wrote such entry on our blogs inspired by each other in 2005. Mine is here: http://www.lameworldofkopa.net/2005/03/day-in-life.html Much changed since then of course, especially as I live alone now.

Currently my days look something like this, but they really vary a lot since I'm writing master's thesis now, and have no work, so I have very few commitments that have a fixed time. And times vary a lot, this an example how it could look like.

10 Wake up, watch some series in bed
10:30 Get up from bed, catch up on stuff like elma sites, swtor sites, irc, facebook
11 Breakfast/lunch
11:30 Study, either writing thesis or reading articles or thinking about either, plus occational elma, swtor, browsing
16:30 Watch some series and eat chips
17 Take a bikeride (some days), play swtor, play elma, browsing
18:30 Dinner
19:30 elma
20 Website coding
20:30 swtor
21:30 elma
22 Watch some series
23 swtor
24 elma, browsing
20:30-24 swtor raid if raid night (usually tuesday, thursday, sunday)
1 Go to bed, watch some series in bed
2 Fall sleep

nothing
~21 checking if is some tennis or football match to duly eye it

Usually something like
-7-10 Wake up depending on when school starts, shower, browse
-Go to school
-After school go to the grocery store / kebab place / other food place
-Then when get home at 16-18 first some browsing, then some elma/maybe take a nap if tired
-From 20.00 onwards a couple of hours of League of Legends with friends usually
-Watch some series/TV before going to sleep at 1-2 am.

Lots of browsing and elma happening when there's free time between LoL games etc.

Yeh. What do you do at work Bludek? Currently I'm in process of finding permanent job and I would like to know what other people do. I will probably do some analysis in excel as I did last summer during internship. What means little job and a lot of boredom, cos they won't let me install elma. I already worked for that company.

Little off topic to answer Chris: I do a part-time job in internet-department of store that sells electronic devices (electroworld.cz). It is not IT, tho. I check the prices of items, I change properties of items if there is special campaign for them, I add and list new items and fill in correct values for them. I also add and adjust new pictures.
Basicly you can say that I do the work behind the website so everything apears correctly for the customer.

I study university too (but it is a little complicated), so I am not looking for a full-time job now. I work like 80 hours a month (I go to work like 3-4 times a week).
