The other newly necro'd toilet topic made me remember this question. It turns out the world's population is split in two equal portions, neither of which know the other exists: Those who stand up to wipe, and those who remain seated. Which one are you?

Keep in mind that just lifting the buttcheeks from the seat qualifies as standing, I should probably have specified that. It seems sitting is winning, and let's be honest, that's the only sensible way to do it.

I scrunch mine. Folding wastes time, which is more valuable than wasting the tp. Also I fold laundry and shit all the time, I don't want to fold my tp. Lastly, i feel like if I fold then I am making it much thinner than a nice scrunch, or that my hand will be bigger than the tp and I'll get shit on my hand. Scrunch 4 lyf.

P.S. this poll would suggest this standing thing is not 50/50. However I know in asian countries it is common to have stalls where you can squat, which is actually a healthier way to shit, I'm sure a substantial amount of Asians and third world countries do this.

Squatting is just horrible, how can you shit when you can't even relax your muscles? And legs probably get tired after a while. And it always feels like you'll shit on your own legs or trousers.

Squatty pottys are becoming more common in the west even. Quite nice feeling because when you squat the anus is much more open, so all the shit leaves with no trouble. Sitting on toilets is a very unnatural position for shitting.
