When should EDQ3 be made?

Abula could be trapped in the bottom of a well for all we know. No one has seen or heard from him in a very long time. Does that mean we never update records section again? Px should just delegate someone else to do it and then it will be done. If that kinda crap is updated it lures more people into the game and keeps peoples interest. I think a few peeps on here are very backwards thinkers saying that people can't do this and that because of the respect factor. I understand that but if skintor doesn't say on here that he is interested in doing another one but just needs time then why not let pawq do the next one or something simular to it?

I wouldn't feel comfortable giving away WR-recs to anyone capable of doing nice videos except for skint0r. Jappe makes great videos but he's also in EPO, Bjorn is working his way up in videomaking but he's also a WR-player himself. I don't see an EDQ done with my latest (and possible future (no I havent made any new)) WRs anytime soon.

Seriously, I don't want to get some eternal ban for sharing all the WR recs, and I believe they wouldn't help shit for me. My video-maker skills are still to be proven, but I think that the recs are 99% of the video so ez do kinda same thing as skintor: put level and time and wr owner, etc. For the music, I'd ask people to give me suggestions and after I collect some I make a mix of everything, trying to have many different styles so everyone could be happy. Really, I would want to do this, and be sure I won't make a mess.

Though it could be done other way, some trustable member of the scene could make .rec files to .avi and then send those .avi files to Jappe who could make the movie and editing stuff..

I don't think all 54 wrs were changed from edq1 to edq2. They don't all have to be beaten either way as there are some on there that are just too hard and will take a long time to beat.

I'm serious, I would be glad to help, and I think that my more than obvious unability to copy anything from these recs would be a good reason for me to have them. Plus, as many recs (like, let's say, I think Raven published his 24,7x in Hang tight now that Jarkko has 24,6x) are public and very close to WRs, for me it would do zero difference, Kazan's 2:14 or John's slightly slower 2:14 in Lab Pro. I hope I somehow proven that I could be trustable by being in the scene since a year and a half now, and demonstrating a clear intention to help people. I don't want you guys to think I absolutely want the WR recs, I just want to be part of that EDQ (if it's made) and I think I would really be a good candidate to send all the WR recs. And if it somehow helped me improve my TT and get some new styles, would this really be bad? :P

Though, I consider that sending them to someone who is not/almost not playing internals, since it would simply be of no use to him, would probably be a better option.

I understand this, but I just don't like the fact that I don't know how many years will it take to someone to trust me for something. You sure won't gain any trust in me if you don't give me any chances, but I understand also that WR recs would be something big to begin with.

it's kind of like a job. When you first start out there the boss will not give you the key to his safe within the first few months. Over time you earn his trust and just be being around in the scene and friendly do you earn people's trust I guess... anyway, either way this video has to be made already so lets make it.

look, the largest part of the community is from scandinavia & finland and most of them met at various FEM/.. meetings, they know each other and trust each other more than some random nabs who spam lauta
i haven't even seen you ever at #across where most of the community stuff used to take place (some years ago atleast)
simply accept the fact you are not going to make it, I'm in the community for some 7-8 years and I gained some 'status' only after i released belma
also I haven't seen any elma movie made by you so it's quite possible it would turn out to be shit

well personally im not even planning to send recs to anyone for another vid o,- maybe if skint makes it i can reconsider. dont see what's so cool about edq idea anymore, the first version was max (because it was one of the first elma videos EVER). rather upload videos with fewer recs, or only one. what's so cool about watching recs like flat track, or hangman, or preca etc where style has been the same shit for 6+ years? now you might wonder "but comeon they still look nice to the ppl who dont know elma", edq2 part2-4 have had about 40k views each in 2 years, that's a really low amount. so what's the friggin point of trying to cheer up some fuckheads who are calling the video maker cheater?

not sure why.... ummm ya but I am sure peeps that you are closer with lukazz would send you recs. Like I have teamates, Ciph and raven who I could trust and send recs too and vise versa. You start out with a select few and usually over time more and more trust you.

And to zweq's comment I think lots of people like EDQ. I mean it's all the replays together in one location with good music pumping and if you don't want to see prec for the 100th time you just click the fast forward button on your tv/computer and you don't have to watch it. But it's better than having 54 videos out there trying to find and keep track of.

I still enjoy to buy some snacks, eliminate all the distracting factors, lay back and watch EDQ once in a while.
Even tho there's nothing new and prolly nothing interesting for pros, I think there's still some kind of magic.

If new EDQ is made, I hope it manages to capture the same magic o,o
