It looks like they commited more fouls beceause of figo and friends for acting all the time, I dont understand why a player with his skills need to act all the time.DamRho wrote:
See but I don't understand that as well.... Against Holland we commited 10 fouls, Holland commited 15. Against England we commited 11, England commited 20. The only match in which we commited more fouls than our opponent was against Mexico. I don't really see that as "violent" play as some english tabloids suggested.
In holland we have the same problem with Robben. everyone hates it when he falls for no reason. But in portugal it likes that its the national sport....
I guess it must be because I didn't see any "falling for no reason". I guess Bhoularouz didn't really touch Ronaldo, that acting bastard!Fabio wrote:It looks like they commited more fouls beceause of figo and friends for acting all the time, I dont understand why a player with his skills need to act all the time.DamRho wrote:

sure, that was a foul, but in the game against england he felt over a foot and roll 10 times over the ground like he was hit by a train or something....DamRho wrote:I guess it must be because I didn't see any "falling for no reason". what game did you see????tijsjoris wrote:No, I can't agree with you that Italy won because of good defense. They won because the referee found a foul in a guy stumbling.
Yea, they could had won also without it by getting the game to end in penalties.
Italy was way better than germany. they deserved to win....
nothing to do with the referee...

germany is OUT OUT OUT!!! (everybody sing!!)
OUT OUT OUT!!!
finally : )
and a deserved win, indeed. i think both teams were at the same level till the end of normal game time, but in extra time italy was way better : )
I´m really happy, i want Italy or France for Win now....

Harald, Fabio, I wrote that one hour before the match of Germany vs. Italy! It's about the match between Italy and Australia! Exclamation!!!!!
And boy, good match it was yesterday. Very tense, and what a good referee. This guy really understood how to judge I thought. Italy had a powerful moment in the end and finished it off with two beautiful goals, now that's a true game winner. They obviously deserved it, for they missed two good chances before.
Unfortunately for Germany, I was so hoping for them to get in the finals and win the cup and all.
Life goes on though, even today. I certainly hope Scolari get's his ticket home tonight.

Well we're still pissed about France (from Euro 1984, Euro 2000 and now again they beat us in the semi-finals) and Greece (from Euro 2004) so I suppose I know what you meanFabio wrote:DamRho wrote:Boy, are the Dutch pissed or what?!tijsjoris wrote: Life goes on though, even today. Whatta?... Italia Trener???... it should have be the Portugal trainer. Portugal will be remembered for their unfair and fake football. Damn acting all the timeinsane guy wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccDyp2aRRCg

This is starting to really piss me off and it's already ridiculous. Take a good and proper look at the games against Mexico, France and even Holland and tell me who was diving all the time. For crying out loud stop this ridiculous thing about the acting; you're sounding the same as when Man Utd were so pissed off at losing to FC Porto in the CL they had to resort to these silly arguments.Xiphias wrote:Whatta?... I agree that the amount of complaints about Portugal are getting a bit out of hand right now. They still made it to the 4th place and it was either the referee's fault or both team's shared fault that turned the match of Portugal - Germany to a disastrous battle.
As for C. Ronaldo's behaviour towards Rooney, which was very much talked about, I think the press has been a foul player. When you see Rooney trying to keep in position it very much looks like he's trying to squeeze some balls here and there.
And tomorrow it's all over. Jesus christ that went fast =)

when i say C.Ronaldo will be the biggest loser.. i don't mean coz of one single accident or any particular match. He was "acting" trough the whole tournament and that's something which makes it boring to watch.
Hopefully there will come some new good rules about that in the FIFA meeting in september.
"Only" four years to go.
