Being a good levelmaker isnt all about how much time you spend on the level, sure a level usually gets better the more you work on it. But does the outcome of the level really depend on if you placed the grass polygons by hand or if ALE did them for you.

If someone made a program that read your mind and created a level directly from the image in your head, then you could make levels extremely fast, but i sitll think there would be good and bad levelmakers, because it really doesnt matter how you made the level or how much time you spent on it, what really matters is the level.
No regrets Image

The categories won't be changed. This thread is primarily for submitting your nominee suggestions. It is least of all a discussion of level makers and level editors.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

I guess that's quite an easy task now. Scrapping TT, look at other aspects as well. (cause after a day of internals I beat Staar anyways. :?) I'm sure he'd be better at something else (externals, battles) ect. so ez scrap internals for someone not under 40.

AKB, I can imagine that you are disappointed in not being the first to finish the style, but you know what's really not fair?

To complain about it in this topic, so that it seems like the jury and the public has done wrong to you. It's a bit childish even.

cmon enough of this bs already. we all know raven did it first and akb has just copy/pasted it by analizing his rec. akb's excuses are not even funny anymore. it's becoming seriously pathetic already the way he wants to change jurys decision and to steal all the glory from the poor, good raven boy. face with it akb and better try some other tricks to get even more attention then that with all the fame you really need. maybe spam the whole board with 1-3 words-per-posts posts instead and own those fabulous tj's postcounts # he has?..for god knows what reason you're doing it? you're gonna be famous!

If you don't want to read crappy blah, then skip the first paragraph.

ok ok, but that's not entirely true, my style is slightly different to Raven's, I do the compression by volting backwards, which is a small difference, but one none-the-less. and I didn't anylise HIS rec, it seems we BOTH anylised CRAZY's recs of misses, and we made it up from there.

ok, i'm dropping it now, let's not raise the subject, it's just my opinion, a 5 year old dream style, and suddenly within half a year of playing some newcomer does it three times, and another time later.

Also, just for fun, me and Raven's Steppes times are the same, (12:65) the only difference is I did mine with Brutal.
