ballelma texts and controls layout
what do you think would be the optimal layout of texts and controls?
there are going to be (this version or some future) these texts :
texts :
a) players online
b) battle standing/results
c) finished times
d) top10 for that level (currently battled levs locked)
e) ? battle status/rules in some list, not in one line (better?), also actual time was requested (7.59pm or smth), new battle options (accept bug times, oneturn balle, ..)
f) ? current setting (others hidden, hidden to others, ..) also new option
that makes you not play, prolly some key with enter at start
g) ? chat over whole screen (and can be put to the bottom as it is now)
h) messages on the top (as they are)
i) chat on the bottom when its not over whole screen
required keys :
a) hide others (F1 now)
b) hide from others (F10)
c) hide leader for pressure-less playing
d) skip playing (?)
e) swap tables or one key for each table (?) (F5-7 + new tables or only one key to swap?)
f) spy next player (F2) (also key (F3) for previous needed?) - alphabetical order now
g) hide battle status (table - e) ?)
h) clear finsihed times table (F8)
i) download/upload rec (F11)
j) download lev (F4)
k) reconnect (F12)
l) add chat line (F9)
with decent setting F1-12 might be enough. Your opinion?

you could make finished time list limited to 10 times and when its full, newst replaces oldest and so on. then F8 would be free
also maybe off topic but the repeat rate when holding down some button on chat could be increased. for example if made bad sentence and the bad word in the middle of line, have to go back and hit backspace like a mofa

you dont have to be afraid you can die
that rate is standard (300ms for 1st key, 100ms for another ones), i can lower it if wanted

F2 and F3 is nice but I think one more key for "spying no one" is important.
In the case if all the settings like show others, hide others, show online kuskis, show battle standings etc. would be able to set in the config file, then you could for example hide others and hide every tables with one table.
(First I thought about 'hide everything' button but different kuskis have different settings, one would like to still see chat and someone else doesn't. This idea came from the thing that usually when I observe and then want to play I quickly want to hide everything (tables and other kuskis) and usually i have to press F5, F6 and F7 several times to get the tables hidden.)
So I go for F5-7 to one button. Different resolutions make it hard to get them simultaneously to the screen, so maybe it's better not to try it. Also I like that full-screen-chat idea.

and dont the F keys go up to F24? with Shift+F(keys)?
so there you have 12 extra keys (appart from those who use shift for braking or sach =/ )

I think its better to combine some keys instead of 24 F-keys cause its imo clearer with less of F-keys..and dont the F keys go up to F24? with Shift+F(keys)?

Then i would love to have the reconnect button as a "connect/ deconnect button", so when i want to drive some lev without internet delay, i can easily switch between on and off! Dunno is possible though.
for skip playing: U have to decide at start of a balle right? Otherwise would be cheat.
It s like 4 tables i guess (finished times, battle, online etc) so one key is enuff for me!
