Last night I had a revelation. What about making a state.dat generator!
You log in on kuski gallery and press a button, and the following happens:
Your name is matched with the records database and your best times are gathered
Then a state.dat is created with those times and a secret link (like on vk0) is created and you can download the new state.dat file
This would be very useful if you have lost your state.dat, but has sent it in to moposite sometime.
I don't think this could be used for cheating, since you only get one time on each level.
What do you think?
<Fihlvein> another case of zworqy-is-always-right closed i guess
<yoosef> zworqy doesnt suck at anything

It gets corrupted once in a while.
Also your hard disk could fail you.
Actually that's all I can think of.

there isn't much point in generating one for everybody all the time, but i guess if you did lose your state, you should be allowed to have one generated using your best times on Records page. imo

Don't even think that you don't have to worry about or take back-ups because there's always Abula.
Some automatic state.dat retuner would be ok. Let's see.

maybe there should be a back-up of the moposite, if for example all the records get lost of olp i think a lot the veterans wouldn't send in there times and i don't think all of them still have the level and replay files

Now my system is behind RAID1, also there are quite many CDs burned occasionally. But still everything is in my room so don't come to burn it please.
