I thought about to see peoples opinions when it comes to the best elma players, and who they would be.

It's too tough to put them to the exact order but my top-10 would consist of these players:

-Zweq
-TorInge
-John
-Kazan
-Markku
-talli
-ANpDaD
-Xiphias
-axxu
-Raven

That list is maybe in rough order too.
Then there are many significant players that were very hard to eliminate from this list like adi, proDigy, Bjorn, Lukazz, jaytea, Jeppe, MP, etc...

so many of the good of the good players are inactive nowadays (t0r, jaytea, axxu(?),...) so i can't say if they would still be in the top 10 of the best kuskis in the world.

only talking about the players that are active nowadays i want to mention:

2. John (I've seen his replays on some wrs compilation, seems to be top kuski, his TT is very impresive too)

5. Ramone (his levels were one of the best externals I've ever played during my short belma career)

Best designer probably some TL, ramone, zelter, but still even here I'm way too nab and play way too little to know.

The more you can see into the future (PROPHET) during the ride, the better you are I think. Look at Markku for example in FF, he makes correct decisions like 19/20 of the time, because he can see very faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar what will happen. Then there are those people who can reproduce same looking runs like a fucking factory (kazak grob). Then there's "bike control" not "bike control", i mean "bike control". n e k i t. Then theres those who spend all their freetime drinking heroin and finding stylz for kazak like anpdad.

I find it difficult to assess any such list (as apparently we are talking about best players of all time)

I began to wonder, how would the old players a decade ago like champion, kingkong, pajen, karlis, dz, psy, elbono, jokke etc fair in comparison to the best players of today? In terms of skill its hard to make any kind of estimation because elma was so.. not as refined back then. Also its even harder to guess because some of those players carried over from Across hence some skill and knowledge of beforehand.

If the game was reset, knowledge of the game was reset, and all the best players of all time would start now, play for 10 years without break and development of the game following a similar timeline as it has thus far with belma>eol, public SL and whathaveyou etcetc, I think the list would look far more different than anyone has suggested so far.

A lot of those kuski's were - to be fair - mediocre compared to now. Players like mick and dz were ranks 1 and 2 10 years ago and nowadays they struggle to win battles. (dz has more success at this.)

Of the old kuski's, i guess i think the following are legit skilled:

I can't see many others making it onto the modern WR table.

if we wanna talk about old school kuskis i can relate to 2003-2005 . those old pros who havent played much lately I bet toringe, axxu and MP would do well after few months of getting touch. then some old pros who have played lately are doing really well jeppe, lazy, luther, bartek(?). then some old kuskis who i didnt ever see as pros before are doing really well also... like tisk
