Very interesting post, Juish!
Juish wrote:d) More designer stats, number of polys places, # of vertices placed, # of each pictures used, ect. the list could go on.
Oooooh yes, that to me is the most important thing. I've said it before on lauta: we need an easier level rating system and some kinds of different statistics for designers. This greatly encourages quality levelmaking and results in better battles. That is needed!

changing limits (next version should finally work with 20k vertices) was not that easy, that's why I asked beforehand (#across?) what should be the limit and I changed it that way
now its not enough again, damez

I liked this sentence :
"With the introduction of EOL(new technology) we increased playability, fun factors.."
I liked the word "we"

Search for something in chat logs (veeery nice feature). Click a timestamp (nice, nice). It doesn't link to the correct page (seems it always links to the first day of chat logging?).

actually stats are quite restricted by the current coded features; some user-friendly rough data manipulation for viewing would be nice since there are infinite possibilities to make new features, or is that too private?
examples:
sometimes i'd just like to see all times gotten by any kuski with time-stamps during a period
or i'd like to see amount of apples gotten by a kuski for certain time-stamp range, to see if he's abusing apple count
could sort all battles by wintime to see how long are battles in overview
i'd like to compare 2 kuskis by their rank in balles, all common levels played by both kuskis are shown with ranks
when reading only chat logs, there might be some confusions about what they are talking about like when they say "OMG talli!", so then around this time-stamp, it could list some events that happened, like finished time in int29: 42,35. then ez understand
could add multiple records to selected levelpack, like Best Times, Number of Finishes and Playing Time

what do you think about the idea?

Cool idea imo. Could be a few checkboxes for what events are shown in-between chat lines. Such as finished times, battle events, players connecting and disconnecting. Maybe a bit useless thingy but cool nonetheless. :D

Yeah, would be cool to have some things included in chat like "new battle leader" or "new PB for xx in internal xx", and it could be very cool to have a friends list to which you can easily send private messages and whose connections/disconnections could appear in chat. Everything could be optional and selected in eolconf. It would rock.

Definately a good idea. Could be some sort of page with a lot of check/dropdown/text boxes.

The other things aswell. Would the chat thing be fine if you have to click the specific line and then you get info about stuff that happened around that time?

Great to see that its doable :) And yes it would be fine, that's what i meant.

Nah, cant list all records for number of finishes, only individual levels and cant load 3 things at once to compare for example Best Times, Number of Finishes and Playing

Reason: Internal battle, battle number 483

in fact it expired 2010-08-17 17:09:03, year is buggy

EDIT: Ok, thought was like 1 week 1st warning, 1month 2nd and 1year 3rd

Does balleabort break winning rows? I think that's what happened to me. I mean I had 4 wins, then I entered new balle but it got aborted. Then next lev started and I won, but site said still 4.

And does winning row go to zero if I don't play some balle? Or does it count just for those balles that I play?

Yes it does break your row (unless it's stopped with you in lead)

Winning row counts for all battles, it's who is on the CURRENT winning row. If you log off, someone else becomes the current winner.

I sometimes get a weird bug when logging in - the site somehow wants to reload itself over and over again, and Firefox gives the message that the page can only be refreshed by sending the data again (user and pass)... and if I agree, it just loads the page again, asks again, loads the page,... and if I click Cancel, I just get an empty page.

edit - I can avoid this by clicking stop before the page is fully loaded...

-Search chat by kuski name (would be good for checking if someone has talked non-eng :))
-Include date in timestamps and battle type in latest battles
-I think making "No. of battles" diagram a "pole" diagram would make more sense.. also it's useless to display "tomorrow" in it

date in latest battles really necessary? kinda obvious that it's either today, or yesterday if the time is higher than clock is now.

Having tomorrow there is a workaround to make it use 0 as lowest value, otherwise it would use 40 or sach now, which would make it seem like a day with 40 battles had no battles during a quick glance.

Don't remember if I've suggested this before, but could it be possible to get chatlog from battle's duration on the single battle's own page? Would be nice to see what people have been chatting during the battle.
