sup everybody
2 years ago I've posted here, and I see theres some "balle elma" going on. So I though I would try it and downloaded it from http://zworqy.com/belma/
I then extracted the files of the .zip file in a new folder. I copied my Elma.res, my lev, lgr and rec folder into it as the readme told me to do. Then I opened belmaConf12.exe and configured my settings as I wanted them.
Then I open belma.exe, but it just comes with an error after like 5 sec where it says "Sorry, internal error".
Anyone know what I am doing wrong?
thanks

oops, forgot to do thatFinMan wrote:elma.res errror if i got that. Read readme again.
did it, now I can succesfully open belma.exe.
So what now? How do I play with others?
there are no new menus or anything. so I tried opening lvl 1, Warm Up and in the top of the screen it says
"error : tcp connect"
I have even tried turning my firewall off but it still comes up.
Any ideas?
edit:
Jappe @IRC told me that i had to replace the IP in the setup app with another, so i did. and now it works

hi Goofu and welcome till belma world
Re: [solved] battle elma, can't get it to work
Hey again everyone!
I will start belma now again (if its still alive?) when I'm bored in school!
Can anyone tell me the current config information (IP and ports), because the default config is not functioning (tcp server error or something)
So: what is the IP of the belma server?
Anyone able to help me out?
Thanks!

Hi goofu
check the new belma version called EOL : http://beta.elmaonline.net/?s=news&id=4
Also, there are some threads in this forum dealing with this new version of elma

Now heres the big question. WHat is the server IP used right now?
I saw at a wiki that the IP address is 172.236.167.53
Is this the correct one?
Because each time I open elma, it says tcp error. After some reconnection tries, it says connected to server. And yet I cant chat with ppl or see whos online. What am I doing wrong?
I did make a login and applied it in the eol config.
Thanks in advance

The current IP is 173.236.167.53 (go to #battle in IRCnet to always see the current IP).
In order to be able to play you need to use the newest version of the program, and you need to register at the EOL site. Once registered, you need to get a mod to give you playing rights.
