I think your plan for being elma-free is quite good. A bit on the expensive side, but.... :)
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

I suck so hard on quitting... just as much as I seem to suck at elma. But dont think I have given up my quittingplans. I am still quitting... Just not straight edge. Soon you wont see me here anymore... and if you do please remind me that I dont belong here...

Haha, what is pathetic with trying to quit something that is not good for me? I cant say it is not good for you, but I bet it messes with many ppls lifes, and at least I realised it.

Lame comment, ok.

It like when there was a biig dragon, and the king wanted to kill it by growing a bigger dragon which can override the smaller one. But what's then? :)
I played many games since i'm a kuski, but nothing made me stop, even for a week or so. The best was gta3 which i still play sometimes, but rarely.

Shit, it's kinda sad to read this. I'm really not aHöyler or a great elmaplayer, I just think everything about Elma is soo cool, but when great talents, that you only know is alive because they're online quits it's like when great artists and filmdirectors die, or when sportsmen and such retire. Damn. btw I found out just some minutes ago that Kinji Fukasaku is dead, one of my fav moviedirectors (Battle Royale etc.). Well back to the subject, I really can't understand you, because I've never retired from something I was really good at, but it's hard I guess. And I always miss people when they disappear. :( Quit playing, but come around moposite sometimes. Ramone, post and tell us about Thailand from an internet café. (Damn I really wanna go there, such beautiful nature)
Be strong!

uninstalling is too big step, that would be like removing all your courses that you've completed in school, would be stupid to throw 5 years work in trashcan

It is a big problem for you that you concider elma playing as work. What you need to do is denie the imprortance of it. If you think like that you cant quit. I think..

Re: Reasons for quiting

Post by Mawane »

Petri wrote:I quit Elma about 16 months ago, the reasons were following:

1. Elbono and Karlis betrayed me and broke my WR with the help of my rec.
2. I got 00.01 from WR in Haircut and a little after WR was made better.
3. I found another nice game to play.
4. Many of my friends quit the game as well.

These might be reasons for other people as well, especially the 3rd reason.
