Actually Pawq is right. Kazan's time doesn't cut a second off the world record because the world record had already been beaten. 2:13:05 - 2:12:37 < 1

Not true, look at Official WR table: 35. Labyrinth Pro 2:13,43 John
Kazans time before doesn't really matter, you are just used to when ppl played offline and you dont see each time they make better.
You know, ppl can make improvments more than once when they beat wrs. And what counts as improvement time is the difference of the time from table and the new time. Nothing else.

The world record at the time Kazan made 1.12.37 was 1.13.05 - Just because it's not on the official table doesn't mean it's not the fastest time.

What has that anything to do with the fact that he actually cut off a whole second from current WR by John? WR doesn't count until it's official.
It's a sick improvement, what you are trying to discuss here is that Kazans WR did cut off less than a second??? makes no sense.

World record is a time confirmed by px, without exceptions. Otherwise you should admit
16. Zweq [WNO] 01:16,64
is the world record.

you are a pedantic asshole and are discussing semantics.

Ves - i consider Zq's NW time to be a WR, i also consider talli's 19,11 in enigma as a WR.

I thought it was a good discussion. we need to determine when a wr is really official - when it's on EOL, or when it's on the WR table.

Ssurely only Moposite. WRs must appear in that table, but that doesn't mean that all times from that table are wrs. Just like all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares... Nothing to discuss here :l

Igge did NOT say anything that showed up he didn't read the posts. It's completely the other way round. What Igge said was about the discussion kept on this topic, not that we need to discuss it anymore since it was already done. This dude did not seem to understand it either, I'm not sure if he did it on purpose just to play with Igge or just for plain brainlessness..
Pawq wrote:Ssurely only Moposite. WRs must appear in that table, but that doesn't mean that all times from that table are wrs. Just like all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares... Nothing to discuss here :l
So, PLEASE read the posts before posting crap.

And ps. that discussion Pawq claimed to be offtopic was completely on teh topic. Discussion about new wrs is seriously kinda well situated in this topic.

Yup. There is nothing wrong with that statement. However, this discussion is way offtopic. Pawq made a good and reasonable post, and people started trying to find flaws in it as usual. Let's just stop it and get back to discussing wrs here.

Kazan, what happened with the hoylage of Warm Up? Why the WR hasn't appeared yet? Is this turn really that hard? I took the appearance of U14 in 01 for granted, now it turns up that

If there's suddenly a new post in this topic after it having been inactive for 2 months that usually indicates a new wr.
