ok, this is a rec that shows the concept i was talking about. I drove 47:60 in mopoco15 first, and then started editing the lev in NEW! and running the same hourglass input over and over. I got bored quite soon, so the end of lev is left as it is, but you get the idea. Sorry for making it so ugly-looking, i suck at levelmaking (i still love the 16:xx spot where you have to brutal after coming out of pipe while avoiding a killer in the roof and two floating polygons, and then avoiding them again while trying not to touch paired killers to the left and to the right from you, then quickly entering the pipe where another killer awaits).
Hope some pro levmakers will get inspired some day and make a smooth sick rec.lev, ok Pab?:D)()

Did the same concept with jon a long time ago but got lazy and never finished anything very cool. Don't need saveload for that. >:e

It's teh same rec but only lev is altered and original replay is played 'in' it, I guess. That's ez. Not exactly the same thing, but the illusion is similar!

I mean just like someone (maybe teh_pro?) sometime upped a rec which seemed to be driven in ramp frenzy but then there clearly was some invisible platform to use the shortcut.

But actually quite the opposite! Now the rec is driven in original level and is shown in modified lev!

Easy to do this without having to use any sl. Just modify the level and change it's "id" to match the original level. Or was it the other way around? Change the level id in the replay file.
This has often been used when sharing trainlvl replays without having to attach the train level it self.

Am I just babbling right now?

i found out that this is faster than my previous "invention" (a little late volt in 8,65 but at least i know it's doable). wonder if zweq used the same in his wr rec:)

yeh, considering there is a 27:1x cocok's rec floating somewhere on zworqy for a long time, it's weird that madness' rec got more interest. Both recs are awesome though :)
