BlueScreen

Post by Hosp »

Recently I've got BlueScreen like every 3 days, and during the last 3-4 days I've got it like atleast 2times a day, before I wrote this topic I got 4 in about 1 hour. So now before whole comp blows up I need help from you mopoguys. Don't want this comp to be destroyed. :(

Here's pic of the problem, tried to google and sach but haven't found anything that could be of help.

Sorry that it is on Swedish but I guess most elmers understand what it says (since most elmers are from norway, sweden and finland, maybe denmark too) Otherwise if you know alot and think you can help me you can try google translate and if want I'll try to for you. :)

wtf are these buttons. They look like badly spelled "suck after losing" and "abort", this is probably not an error screen but startballe.exe for losers.

It was too long of a text to just do one print screen so scrolled down and printscreened 3 times and after that tried to put all 3 pictures together. :P

Rather take a pic of that Blue screen and paste here. Or look youself what is the file or something that caused it. Probably need to update some drivers, else it could be overheating or maybe ram failure.

I didn't mean you have too little or too much ram, I mean it can be faulty, and you can't say it shouldn't be a problem before you check =)

just burn the iso with PowerISO/Daemon Tools/CloneCD and reboot pc, boot it from the cd and it should start automatically. just remember to burn files within the iso file. you've never got in touch with the iso files?:)

Just take the USB version, very convenient. Else you could just try and take out the memories and try one by one and see how it runs.
I mean, if you fail with not having a CD to burn on, or with booting on USB =D but surely can enable USB boot in BIOS if not work directly.

did you recently install some new hardware in your computer? New RAM, new HDD etc? If so, then that's most likely your problem.

Always check what RAMs are "certified" for your specific motherboard before you buy anything new. HDD doesn't matter what brand. You can find what suits your motherboard on its website. If your Rams are not in that table you find, it means they are probably not tested but can work good anyway, or worked bad when tested.

Hmm. Seems a painful way to go about it but it'll clean your computer out anyway. Maybe time to do some hardware upgrades too, Hosp. (the problem may have been HDD related)

this works out well, did it twice on my 4-year-old laptop and it happens to work almost as good as it did when new. Broken screen is an annoyance though.

Reformat/Reinstall is a good solution when something fucks up, mostly easier and faster than trying to erase the problems manually. At least now you will find out if it was hardware related. Also I recommend you to make a back-up of your hdd with freshly installed os, programs and all stuff you need, the restore takes just a few minutes.

Actually my brother came home and helped me right before I was gonna reinstall comp.
It shows up that it was since I hadn't updated graphic card driver.
I sat like 12 hours trying to fix, he fixed in less than 3minutes. :S
But it's good since now I can do everything normally and I sorted my hdd pretty good too.

This.

Hosp you will be sorry he fixed your problem, as now you probably (read definitely) won't re-format until the next problem occurs, since no one ever re-formats without encountering an error.

Arhhg, autoinstallers can go to hell, I like to customize everything that puts on my HDD. Like url for installpaths, shortcuts and shit like that, many times programs can install extra addons too, like some crap toolbar for IE. Those stuff are just sickly annoying! Maybe I am a bit of a control freak but I like to know whatefak is on my computer and where. And I don't get bluescreens =D
