Why should he have to send in? Driven online (with multiple spectators watching live even) + published rec at least for hifly.

With some insight and bending the bend one would think this should be enough to qualify to be updated in the official table without kaz having to go the extra mile and send in but rules are rules I guess

awesome wrs! sometimes i feel out of the loop cause everyone here seems to already know about these but i prefer to not pay attention to best times lists. so anyways wow wr good job zweq and grob. just when i think wr's are done getting more than a second taken off them zweq does another impsy time

Those are obviously bugged and cheated and everyone knows that. I refer to my statement regarding hifly rec is published + driven online (with spectators). Granted px wouldnt know about the spectators and all the witnesses so you can safely ignore that part I guess. But still in combination these factors would transfer into solid evidence that this is a legit wr. Perhaps px want to scan kaz state.dat for editing if somehow he managed to xiit this anyway in some way, which seems unlikely and extremely far-fetched. Still its a good safety measure I can agree.

However if state.dat is NOT analyzed for edit then this part should easely be skippable dont you think? (I'm not sure if state.dat is analyzed for edit at all or if its simply eyeballed ingame to see if the time is actually there so i may be speaking out of line here.)

Since wrs are required to be driven online.. well in comparison to the EOL pack levels, where neither lev nor rec is required to be sent anywhere to be counted as official wr on the table.. I suppose I'm just venting on the inconsistency between different tables.

If anything, you can safely ignore everything I just said.

It's fair to let Kazan decide. If for some unknown reason he doesn't want his time to be an official WR, let it be so. I wouldn't say sending it in is much of an "extra mile". Just a matter of decision.

Apart from analyzing state.dat and .rec files as thoroughly as reasonably possible, we also archive the replay files and states. For the future community and also for possible future cheat-revealing tools.

Obviously responsibility should reside on Kazon for sending in the records through proper form.

It is a shame, to my opinion, to see it done in such a way by some people. Not only that falsifies some official stats, but some might also take such "late-sending" habits as a disrespect to the community.

Besides that,
