Weeeeell... I got over rooster head perhaps 50/50, and 2 hours of trying the new style resulted in perhaps 2 passable attempts <.< (successful new start + bnc to snake) so i gave teh up

are you kidding? I have 56.64 without bounce, and it's a poor run :D 55 should be ez without teh bounce

True, but lacks credibility if not. I remember first time i posted here which was just after SL patch got released, and some ppl exclaimed xiit since they didnt think the time was made online (30.74 curva, which isnt even world top 30)

also if not made online, then ez saveload world top 10 times here and there and be totally accepted? seems really easy to cheat your way into the lists then

You seem to have missed the point. I wasnt refering to any random nobody suddenly getting tons of top 10 times out of nowhere which would seem suspicios to say the least.

Im talking about any internalist, famous or not, deciding to do a top 10 time. Lukaz stated it doesnt matter if its not online unless its wr, so for example what if I drive 31.30 legit online, and then do a saveloaded 31.02 which currently would be the #10 world spot. Those times are not so different. Depending on the lev it just might be a small matter of luck such as a good endbounce. Reputation has nothing to do with any of this. This could go for any person who decide to put a lot of effort into getting one good time in only one lev.

Bottom line is that if its driven offline, whether its zweq or mrnewfag2011 with no reputation at all, there is no way to prove that its legit since there is currently no way to prove if a rec is saveloaded or not. Also top 10 times are never asked for replays or anything aside from state.dat, being driven online is about the only piece of evidence you'd get. So a SL detecting program would do nothing to help this matter.

Indeed. But this was also about being disconnected in the middle of a legit run and then decide to finish it which netted into a new PR. I didnt want to count my time since I cant prove its legit, and will play until i beat teh online. My concern was just that if no one cares about any times being driven online unless its wr then everyone could saveload themselves 36tt and be perfectly safe from being counted as cheaters

As far as moposite records go, state.dat uploading has been disabled and we are making a system for copying times from eol to moposite. So you will need to play online to get on those lists in the future.

Ofcourse there's the problem with getting disconnected doing a run for whatever reason. On kopasite I accept offline driven rec's if it's like one in a hundred that can't be verified in EOL, but we haven't talked about anything like that for moposite.

times you drive now will be copied over once the system is in order ofcourse, if that's what you mean. But there's no updates on moposite at the moment no, except if your new times are wr's (:

Perhaps add the times that are on moposite into eol as well? kind of merge both sites so when you achieve a top-whatever-shiftF5-time it would display the actual world top list? just a suggestion)
