i will update this as soon as i get my notebook back repaired. i will add Tigro there, because you have to go to the right as shown in his replay, but Lee, you can drive that too if you want so i can add credit to you both.

:D it took me 45 mins of S/L ing to make run good enuf. Pipe was made on second try tho.
I wander if there is enuf speed gained when jumping from top to left so i could get up from right side... have to try that too.
also i was wandering about old challenge #18. Maybe someone should start with ridiculous, ez numbers of apples. Ok, here is my easiest way: 3 apples and returned to start. Someone make more!

Got 26 apples with an awful test ride. Can't pick two lowest left apples. Have few ideas, will try them out later today.

very nice! and pls can you do it like this: go down to a platform right above the flower without taking any apples and then start taking all apples from the bottom to the top? it would be awesome:)

Ok, i'll try. Could be possible under 4mins if i was to take few annoying ones on the way down to avoid detours when climbing back up. Let's see what time i'll get using your way :)

Collected everything on the way back, returned to start and then finished in under 4mins, didnt expect it to be possible :) Also the route is the most straightforward one, so there could exist much better solutions for the second half of the run, but i just wanted to produce a decent enough rec. Today.
No sick-looking tricks, but that's natural for such slow-paced climbling challenge i think. Mostly you'll see basic driving, and 3-4 zomg-barely-made-it spots to spice it out.
I'm itching to improve the style, but most probably will not be able to do it soon, ez focus on other challenges for now. Definitely going to revisit this one though =)

GAA.

I was trying hard to do hang to 5th apple in new wave(old #11), but it seems nearly impsy. Had 30 fps for max stretch, but thats just not enuf. Same as in stretching in hangtight last apple.

i guess it's even impsy if you're going from the right side platform with more speed, but i could be wrong. imho this one is the hardest of all remaining old challenges.

I suppose you need to grab that 5th apple in the challenge. I tried that for a while in Bismuth's competition where you were supposed to finish the levels with minimal amount of vertices. Even with that edited polygon (triangle-shaped platform for max speed) I couldn't get the apple with a hang, so I assume this challenge with the original polygon is impossible.

For that Bismuth-competition it felt possible though, just really hard.

About this AH hoylage - didn't someone already do this by segmenting with several "train levs"? An so, what's the difference between an SLed run and simply segmenting by level?

I've told about it few posts above. I think it were Zweq's trainlevs and both him and John made it in trains. The difference was in that you could actually touch ground and go inside the tube to the right (but not exit it through the right though), so there was no need to do the difficult 30s jump, and the first half of lev was trivial. Also i dont think there was need in taking all apples, it was all about climbing to the start, but i could be wrong here :s

Also, all uploaded stuff needs a reupload. FBI took our drawings, and skint0r took down the up.k10x.net :(

EDIT: and yeh, i agree that there is no real difference between sl and trainlevs except for aesthetical aspect and convenience of having one polished rec for everything instead of 6 random ones. It's also easier with sl.

i think brutaling in hehe is harder tho... i can be wrong.. But this all can be easily made by other tools than SL... mila would easily beat imo.

#5 tag: jump down to the brick polygon and jump back up (by Xiphias)

it was never specified if you had to jump straight back up from the brick polygon, just that you had to jump to it AND jump back up. but who knows, maybe was implied, ill understand if you dont accept this. still cool rec though.
