well, the rec is very sweet indeed, but it should be straight up instead of going around according to drawing :S but i don't know what xiph meant back then in old challenge topic.gimp wrote:#5 tag: jump down to the brick polygon and jump back up (by Xiphias)
it was never specified if you had to jump straight back up from the brick polygon, just that you had to jump to it AND jump back up. but who knows, maybe was implied, ill understand if you dont accept this. still cool rec though.

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
That's just stupid commafuckery! While jumping straight back would require a hard bounce, gimp's style is far more creative and cool!
then again i don't know anything
maybe easier not to think abouut alöl things thought than not things thought ... or something..=?

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
gimp after i saw what you did at tag, i think #76 will be easy to you. try it. one bad upik, nothing more
Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
well it's cool indeed! i guess i just divide the challenge into 2 so gimp completed one of them and the 2nd straight jump up will be waiting for someone to beat (maybe gimp too, who knows). because i just want to see the straight bounce so hard :SLousku wrote:That's just stupid commafuckery! Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
there are plenty ez challenges in this list tbh, even easier than #76:)Tigro wrote:gimp after i saw what you did at tag, i think #76 will be easy to you. try it. one bad upik, nothing more

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
Meh, not an interesting challenge imo. It's not fun when you set rules for the style. :E Challenges like "touch x and get finish/get back to start/blah blah" require more stylefinding and result in cooler recs!

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
well i know. i was just wondering from like the beginning of time if you could bounce back there, please don't kill me :XLousku wrote:Meh, not an interesting challenge imo. Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
Possibility of bounces is always ambiguous when a line between legit and buggy hasn't been drawn. Of course any bounce is theoretically possible.

imho it is possible with legit bounce, but freakin' hard.Lousku wrote:Possibility of bounces is always ambiguous when a line between legit and buggy hasn't been drawn. Of course any bounce is theoretically possible.

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
very cool!gimp wrote:#8 loop-de-loop: jump on the small polygon
Tigro: wow, i see it can be possible that way i guess, but still impsy if you take all apples and hang there:P
Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
sure, there´s no way how to get enuf speed. but challenge says just to take 5th apple and 6th. no other apps or finishing the lev, that would be simply impsy.
Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
well, that's why i made those drawings. this particular challenge was to test, if you can finish new wave with this route and if yes, to see if it's faster. i didn't want to add walls of text to challenge descriptions, that's why you should look for the drawings aswell.Tigro wrote:sure, there´s no way how to get enuf speed. but challenge says just to take 5th apple and 6th. no other apps or finishing the lev, that would be simply impsy.
Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
i think that it is challenging enough even if you dont take other apples. hard even when going from left.
Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
Nice double-tug volt at 28.xx.gimp wrote:#8 loop-de-loop: jump on the small polygon

i noticed that too, some saveload glitch maybe?Madness wrote:Nice double-tug volt at 28.xx.gimp wrote:#8 loop-de-loop: jump on the small polygon

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
got decent speed at 2:24, instead of bounce with right arrow, need to do wheel compression with left arrow and push bike up from the left spike and land on the upper right spike. hard as fak and impsy for me, but pasibel for pros. i'll add it to the list on new update.

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
Circuitous: Get to any of the two bottoms (basically get as low as possible in the level) and get back to the start again.
Culino, you could add both this and my previous challenge, on Enduro, on the front page.

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
ofc, will do an update in few days though:)
btw. isn't enduro one "covered" in #74?

Re: internal challenges (v2 with tools)
Oh, just took a glimpse in that list and must've missed it. Challenge might be too tricky if going to any of the lowest spots anyway. Just add Enduro then.CuLiNo wrote:btw. isn't enduro one "covered" in #74?
