gimp wrote:#5 tag: jump down to the brick polygon and jump back up (by Xiphias)

it was never specified if you had to jump straight back up from the brick polygon, just that you had to jump to it AND jump back up. but who knows, maybe was implied, ill understand if you dont accept this. still cool rec though.
ancientchall05.rec
well, the rec is very sweet indeed, but it should be straight up instead of going around according to drawing :S but i don't know what xiph meant back then in old challenge topic.

That's just stupid commafuckery! While jumping straight back would require a hard bounce, gimp's style is far more creative and cool!
then again i don't know anything
maybe easier not to think abouut alöl things thought than not things thought ... or something..=?

well it's cool indeed! i guess i just divide the challenge into 2 so gimp completed one of them and the 2nd straight jump up will be waiting for someone to beat (maybe gimp too, who knows). because i just want to see the straight bounce so hard :S

Meh, not an interesting challenge imo. It's not fun when you set rules for the style. :E Challenges like "touch x and get finish/get back to start/blah blah" require more stylefinding and result in cooler recs!

Possibility of bounces is always ambiguous when a line between legit and buggy hasn't been drawn. Of course any bounce is theoretically possible.

sure, there´s no way how to get enuf speed. but challenge says just to take 5th apple and 6th. no other apps or finishing the lev, that would be simply impsy.

well, that's why i made those drawings. this particular challenge was to test, if you can finish new wave with this route and if yes, to see if it's faster. i didn't want to add walls of text to challenge descriptions, that's why you should look for the drawings aswell.

got decent speed at 2:24, instead of bounce with right arrow, need to do wheel compression with left arrow and push bike up from the left spike and land on the upper right spike. hard as fak and impsy for me, but pasibel for pros. i'll add it to the list on new update.

edit: forgot to touch teh flower:))

Circuitous: Get to any of the two bottoms (basically get as low as possible in the level) and get back to the start again.

Culino, you could add both this and my previous challenge, on Enduro, on the front page.

Oh, just took a glimpse in that list and must've missed it. Challenge might be too tricky if going to any of the lowest spots anyway. Just add Enduro then.

Updated topic after a long time :o Giving gimp credit for the old05 and adding a new challenge (#85) for the route I had envisioned. On top of that adding three more challenges (#86-88).

"Very old" challenges updated, now at 15/18:

old05 - done by gimp
old08 - done by Zweq
old11 - done by Zweq

Regular challenges updated, now at 24/88:

08 - done by gimp
