i think remove his playing rights too but let him have his battle starting rights...and lets see how long he will continue to make levels.

Yea, he is kind of an important part of this community. He makes amazing amount of levels every day and he makes them usualy when nobody else makes them, which is just great. This ban for starting something wrong (if I remember correctly) is nonsense. His contribution to Elma's fun world is much bigger than the contribution of most of us. It is quite sad also....

TL is kind of a chatty genius but many people cant see that. if i'm informed well he is banned for being negative... well
it is indeed sad to lose his talk and i'd love to see him unbanned cuz i dont think he does any harm to eol life.

Eol rules regarding chatting:

Chat
2.1 Spamming
2.2 Writing in other languages than English (allowed in private)
2.3 Writing very offensive or insulting material

dont see being negative stated anywhere here (if that was the reason) Though personally i dont really care about TLs case, i have no opinion whatsoever about the man. Just trying to be a paragrafryttare

Some may like his chatting, but I know at least of many who were tired of the general negativity. Once saw someone in IRC say something along the lines of "so tired of reading TL chat I'm gonna take a break from eol". However this is not the actual reason for any of his chat bans, although it might have been a contributing factor. First few bans were for talking finnish, and the 1 year ban was a personal attack of sorts, for which the opposing player also got a chat ban btw. He can make an appeal if he wishes and admins will talk/vote about it, but to be honest I wouldn't get my hopes up. He has shown no respect for rules by creating phantom user when he was battle starting banned. So eventhough I do respect his big contributions to EOL I'm not really looking to do any favors.

In the past I have been reluctant to give any details of bans in public, to not hang out people, but it might be better to avoid too many misconceptions.

Agreed. However i think its unavoidable to not get some people raise to raise a topic like this if they clearly assume its for other reasons (as was the case with this thread), unjustified reasons, or that the misconduct was less severe than it in truth was - I remember this time when pab got banned for "only writing a few lines" of spanish, and J2 posted a ss and it turned out that he spoke entire volumes of spanish and he was warned several times in advance.

That point aside: people look out for their friends/people they like/like contributions from because its beneficial for eol life, or for no apparent reasons than just sticking out for them. Its how some things goes i spose.

No. Exact opposite. I just knew the screenshot from zworqy and the reason was "overall negativity". It looked like someone didn't like what he said and chatban him, rather than TL breaking rules.

Frankly, I've never seen TL chat :D Probably because I visit EOL rather seldom nowadays. Anyway, I'd be glad to join for some battling now too if I was home, I've always hated annoying TL balles :(

If enough people asks to have TL unbanned, I'm sure it could make a difference. See it as some form of a petition.

I don't think the ignore function works anymore. I have ignored some people several times, but I keep seeing what they type. Last I heard Kopaka wanted to fix it, but didn't know what caused it not to work.

Because the level sucked huge fucking ass.

Seriously - this is a good example of more is not better.

I would prefer if he made 1/4 the amount of levels and made each 4x good. (But to be honest, the ratio would have to be in the 1000s)

i know right, not only his levs suck there are so fucking many of them.
i think its finally time to ban him forever, no play,no start,no chat,no nothing.

taken from the other "unban tl topic" by ramone. i was apparently the one that got attacked, didn't know he got banned becouse of me until today (saw chatlog kopaka posted in there). neitherless, im happy hes banned. made me play the game again, quite annoying when someone keeps beeing a douche in chat and in private almost every time you login.
