Re: Elasto Mania Lgrs (82) and Programs (63) - Updated 03.1

Post by iCS »

Wow, there are many lgr's i've never seen!
Newest version of mine is 3.4 and there are two subversions:
3.4 Bjenn Edition: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70972454/iCS34B.LGR
3.4 Blaztek Edition: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/709 ... S34BLZ.LGR
Thanks :)

Is the LGR of ville_j Simple Recplayer public? That could be also added.
Can't see Super Mario lgr in the list.
A suggestion: make ctrl-f-able text titles below images? So many lgrs here already, would be easier to search.

No that rec player lgr is not public as it is not even a real lgr, just drew those few images for the player.

More crap here. http://mopolauta.moposite.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9069

Might be good to keep variations of the same LGR together on that site, perhaps with smaller thumbnail images.

Holy shit, amazing job o,o thanks so much Sla!

Was going to mention Lee's sandman but he already posted the whole bunch :) (I used that one for years btw, great one!)

I also have some 20 lgrs in my folder and it seems like hardly any are on the site. I'll go through them and post later :)

Most of them are variations of HighQ/hollowQ/highQfix etc, any particular reason why those aren't on the site? As I said, I'll post those that I have later.

No, there is no winter themed LGR that is usable as a default. It is a good idea though. You'll have the exact the same pictures and textures, just that trees, bushes and stuff have snow on them and the grass is snow.

Some findings:

MiE LGRs - only the first included in website, there are 4 variations
Gravity apple arrow LGR by dawid- variation of GreenB lgr with arrows shown on gravity apples
Sonic the Hedgehog LGR
Mawane LGRs - dead links!
GrayFace LGR - dead links!

Also found 13 missing ones in my lgr folder:
http://kopasite.net/up/0/missing_lgrs.7z

Most of those are variations of Default or HighQ with different skies, 2nd players etc, but there are a couple of completely different ones too.

I think it would be great if people found the time to look through their folders, some veteran collectors must have loads more :)

Also I guess you should add the LGR site link to the first post Sla =)

sry for double post.

I think it would be a good idea to keep all of the 3: HighQ, HighQfixed and HiQFlag and let mans make the choice :)

Also MiE LGR 4 missing. Not sure what's different to default but I don't think they'd share an lgr that's a copy of default :)

Also it looks like the following are missing from the Moposite LGR site:
http://www.moposite.com/downloads_lgrs.php

Elma 2
Frame
Lego
Nice Textures (I think I saw it on the website but can't find now :s)
No Theme
Offensive (I know it's offensive but it's kinda the point :D)
Strongbad
Underwater
EXC XR

I don't think I'll be able to find any others :D

Probably cause those programs are very old 16-bit ones. This site mentions something about this: http://www.techsupportalert.com/content ... lained.htm. However changing from 64-bit to 32-bit Windows because of that is just silly.

FireFox (Only for Programs Section) https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... HgtQ2VkV2M - Im sorry but at the moment i cant fix the little bug of distances, so if you use Firefox, you can check Programs sections here (without descriptions).
Thanks to you and all for using the site and uploading missing programs.

Thanks for info, never read anything about it actually.
This laptop has 4gb ram, so a friend told me that the proper system for this would be 32bits, so i had no reasons to keep 64bits problematic system. I have XP on other PC also, no matter how insecure or old some people say it is <:

"Amle2" with 45 levs (a few internals here) + external editor + Sprites editor (dont ask me how to use it cuz no idea) + menu with a few more options (Merge Replays, Config)

(Was not on site before: sprite editor, 224 levs on Amle, "new" menu on Amle2, just a few new levels added on Amle2)

I asked Schumi for this Lgr http://kopasite.net/up/jm0bo3kwp32my1x/vario023.png specially for that good looking grass and he said its not a Lgr but a view of New! external editor. I dont know if there is a Lgr with that grass or not but i didnt find it on my page so i edited it by my self. I thought it wouldnt look as good as the New! image but im very happy with the result:

Image
Image

You will note some "imperfections" in some places (E.g. Hi Flyer left grass at start) but still very smooth and nice looking for me. Maybe there is not solution for this because Elma doesnt put grass lines 100% aligned and in the same way always? Anyways if you know how to make them totally perfect, tell here please.

Testing it at the moment so i wont add it to the Lgrs site yet. Lgr is called New!

This is pretty much the best you can get using all 99 grass image slots.
Even with that there are still some very slight imperfections as Elma alternates between two pictures, like 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2, but sometimes like 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 2, which can produce some wobbly looking grass.
But even those imperfections aren't noticeable when playing, only if you stop and stare at it.
Image 2 shows just how steep the grass can get to using all angles from 1-49 (of course can get steeper if you skip angles and make some 200px high image).

Updated my lgrs (on site) HowQ3H, HowQ3L, New and Hi_Ku with Lee's smooth grass (others colours and textures). Flat grass look SO nice imo, you should try it for a while in several levs and see it.

Due to some variations when adding more grass than you normally can with default grass, i added all grass missing only until 18, and not until 49. This way all grass still looking 100% smooth.

Nice innovation. Ill try that one some day. And ill update page in a few hours maybe. Thanks for updating here.

All lgrs are non-bosted, do you (all pipal) think i should update them to boosted? I didnt do this in the past due to some minor problems when trying to edit lgrs with EasyLgr (lgr is not openeable whit it) but with sunl's programs everything can be fixed nowadays.

Opinions please.

EDIT: sunl.lgr added
