(edit: lol, this topic is not in Non-Elma related discussion   Just searched for topic with "gender" in its name. But w/e, I am not gonna delete it.)

I was just wondering, which one of these people has it harder in dating? :

a) unattractive woman which almost no-one asks for a date
or
b) unattractive/uncool man that has to try ultra hard and gets rejected almost all the time.

try to look away from the fact, that you are a guy :) If I think about it detached from the same fact, I guess being an unattractive girl is actually "worse", but several rejects in a row can mess up with guy's confidence a lot.

I was just wondering about it, coz of this one girl, that asks for attention all the time and no-one really cares about her. Sometimes I am a bit too empathetic :D Or maybe I am not, coz I do not rly care about her either... Tough...

P.S. lol, there's the original FM's quote from AKB's signature in this topic

Definitely harder for an unattractive woman. Men are generally attracted to a woman's fertility, so they will be attracted to nice butts with curvy hips and big titties, a nice smile is always great too. Woman are attracted more to social power than anything else in a man. Looks don't really matter too much for men, just be confident, rich, and powerful with good family values.

Yeah, men generally aren't really expected to look great anyway. Which sucks imo. I think the world would be a lot more interesting if men were also spending time on getting nice haircuts, choosing cool looking clothes, etc. Actually, that's how it used to be in the old times, but then the Great Male Renunciation happened and men became boring creatures that aren't supposed to be pretty.

Every time I see an overly well-groomed guy, I instantly think he is either gay, metrosexual or desperate.
Guys should be famed not for their looks, but for their deeds.

I don't say that men shouldn't care for themselves and their looks, but definitely it shouldn't be their agenda of how to get a girl or how to spend several hours every day.

Imo that's just a horrible stereotype that makes the world a less interesting place. I want to see pretty people when I'm outside of my house, not these clumsy looking creatures with the most banal clothes imaginable that aren't even of the appropriate size. I hope one day everyone will strive to be beautiful, whether they are expected to do so by society or not. We need more pretty people on the streets because when you see beauty it cheers you up, makes you think more positively, etc. When you look at these zombies, on the other hand...

if we focus solely on sex I would say non-attractive female has it easier since as you know, many men will fuck pretty much anything with a hole.
guys however are generally ignored if nat either: attractive handsome fellow or have a nice personality, alpha kinda dude
