Mircing in Thailand?

Yo bouys, I cant get mirc to work... I hardly can at home, in the list you can choose where to connect you cant choose Thailand. I searched some for it and the closest I could find was Malaysia. Yet I am still not 100 % sure how to do it if I got the right adress and port...

you just write:
/connect blablablablbal.bla 6667 (or whatever)?

and in the list I searched for there says IP nr... do I have to bother for that? I only found mirc on 2 computers away on my Trip, and one of them is the one I am using right now... would be great if someone could post what I need to join up with you guys some time from here.

Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

you just use

/server irc.whatever.wherever:port

port is 6667 by default

some servers you might use:
ircd.seed.net.tw
irc.tokyo.wide.ad.jp
irc.freebsd.org.tw
hub1.us.ircnet.net

if none works try irc.stealth.net it should work from everywhere, but your connection will be restricted than

I got connected to mIRC, but I got disconnected almost right away.. didnt spoke to anyone or so.. trying again right now... ued stealth...

got connected again... but no one replys... it is early at home so maybe thats it.. but it said:
Your connection is restricted!
What exactly does that mean? I guess it means I cant do some thibngs.. it said it when I tried to change nick... but I mean, you must be able to CHAT... right?

well, sometimes stealth is overloaded that's why it refuses connection

restricted clients

1. cannot act as channel operator on normal #channels (/mode, /kick, ..)
2. cannot change nickname (/nick)
3. can chat normally
