Post by danitah »

Which kuski can make the best top5 list of my favorite idol group Momoiro Clover Z?

The winner will get a level dedicated to them by me.

Make a top 5 list of the girls you like the best, the members are:
Green - Momoka
Pink - A-rin
Red - Kanako
Yellow - Shiorin
Purple - Reni

Putting a couple of images here (left to right order same as above):

Submissions from discord:
Markku
1. momoka

Sla
green: 1
red: 2
yellow: 3
Pink: 4
Purple: 5

adi
dunno
green best

...

Let's evaluate submissions:
skint0r, ics:
I can respect very much putting Reni at 1, but Momoka in last place?Image
Score: 1.5/10

adi, vermin, Markku:
Just choosing best one and not judging others out of political correctness, hmm oke ...
Score: 8.5/10

Hosp:
Pretty good, Reni in 2nd place also nice, a few minus points for not having A-rin in top3.
Score: 9/10

Lousku:
One very nice list here, same as Hosp but also putting A-rin over Shiorin gives him a bit better score.
Score: 9.25/10

Sla:
Oke list. Only A-rin and Reni too low. But not bad.
Score: 7/10

Correct order is:
1. Green - Momoka
2. Pink - A-rin
3. Purple - Reni
4. Red - Kanako
5. Yellow - Shiorin

However perfect list to win over all would have been this:
1. Pink - A-rin
2. Green - Momoka
3. Purple - Reni
4. Red - Kanako
5. Yellow - Shiorin

Unfortunately, have to make some disqualifications ...

skint0r, ics: Disqualified for putting Momoka in last place. Image

adi, vermin, Markku, Hosp, Lousku, Sla: Disqualified for putting Momoka in first place. Get your own girl! Image

But I guess since everyone disqualified, I'll reluctantly give win to Lousku anyway... gz

Wow! Looks like the best on-stage birthday celebration I've ever seen! Pretty epic with the green light batons in the audience too. If she really didn't know beforehand then I'm impressed!

Well I'm sure she expected something since it was her birthday. :> The penlights can be switched between all 5 colors of the members so the fans can show who they support and they can all change it when one of the girls are in 'focus'. Pretty cool way to make the show interactive.

I have to admit I can't help but dislike everything that dani has been spamming in Discord. It's just the way my mind works: when I get repeatedly bombarded by something I'm not interested in for extended periods of time, I react negatively. Then again, I might be a little jealous that someone can be that enthusiastic about something. Even with my favorite things I don't really feel like I have to tell the whole world about them.

Not really sure what you are talking about kuchi? There hasn't even been that many messages on discord since you came back. Did you go through all of the messages from the time you were away? Or are you talking about messages before you left discord?

Yeah, should get it done soon. Just have hardly had motivation to be in editor in the last months, but last week ago got into it a bit again. Of course that's not an excuse for it being as late as it is. Fuck, soon 3 years since started already...

Not sure what to say really. I guess you must be talking about my MCZ and Seiko related posts to the anime channel. Yeah maybe I wrote quite obsessively about Seiko in anime discord channel quite much, but since there's only really a couple of people posting there regularly and there's also another fan of Seiko there I didn't see a problem with it. About MCZ maybe I've been in my own bubble and posted too much stuff that no one else cared about, and well maybe this is true for Seiko too. Mostly I just wanted to share some moments I found funny/interesting, I don't want to try to force it upon others and try to 'convert' people into becoming a MCZ fan or whatever. I don't think it's anything to be jealous about at all. Most people in those topic-specific channels like to express their enthusiasm toward an upcoming album / anime season, or share what they are listening to etc. Maybe you are different and it's related to how you don't like to rate things? Part of my motivation to rate things is to express my feelings toward them I think. Anyway, I'm sorry if this is the reason you have been avoiding discord.

Imo there's absolutely nothing wrong with sharing stuff excessively, as long as it's happening in the specific channels. And don't get disheartened dani, we know that kuchi has very specific views on some things, and I don't think his post was intended as a complaint, but more like a comment about his feelings at the time.

Kuchi - remember, you don't have to read all messages in all channels :p

Maybe I just have a different understanding of what web communication should be like. I guess I expect people to talk less about themselves and listen more to others. Otherwise the internet starts to look as some sort of a mental dump where useful information and interesting opinions are buried below personal ramblings. But yeah, I don't have to read anyway.

Wtf kuchi. If nobody says anything about themselves then what are others supposed to listen to? Sharing is caring!

I'm just saying that sometimes people write messages when they have something to add to the conversation or to start a new good one, while other times it's more like they are talking to themselves. And I would like to see more of the former on the internet.

It feels a bit unfair if you are basing this on everything that's been sent to the anime channel while you weren't there. Many times I had for example Japanese language related things I wanted to share with you, but you weren't there so I didn't send them.

Maybe we need an #anime-safe-space channel.
