WR Stats - a new targets desktop app

Post by edahl »

Over the past few days I made an app which compares your times to all previous WR tables. On Windows 32-bit and 64-bit systems put the relevant file enclosed in the Github Releases link below in your Elma folder and run it.

For an (outdated) screenshot see here.

It reads directly from your state.dat and will automatically update as you progress through the 18 year history of WR tables.

The app is programmed in Rust and is cross platform. The project is available at my GitHub if you want to contribute or compile it for your local system.

Suggestions and feedback welcome!

I will be keeping this thread up to date as new versions are released.

Windows 32 and 64 bit
Sorting! Updated 20.05.2018

Hope you enjoy!

Added 32 bit binary. I can't guarantee anything, I haven't cross compiled before, but it should work.

Kuchitsu tried it and it crashed, so I may have to figure something out.

EDIT: I updated with the thirtytwoing debug build which does work for Kuchitsu (and should run about the same).

Do you have the exe in your elma folder with the two csvs and your state.dat? If the program can't find your state.dat it shuts down right away.

My pleasure!

Could you elaborate what you mean by that?

It isn't serious, only my thoughts, not sure))
me offer to focus on # of beated wr table on each lev (maybe with diff colors), these numbers in brackets in your program are not very demonstrative. And remove the focus from times.

Cool :) If you have any concrete ideas on how you want it to look, I'd be very glad to hear it! Everything is subject to change, and I am not great at GUIs

The latest exe is apparently too large to upload, but 64 bit users can follow the Dropbox link.

Hugeish update with table sorting. Early access as it were, but it does work. If you try it out, feel free to drop me a line with suggestions and feedback.

WR Stats 0.6.0-alpha is ready, do try it. I'm very interested in hearing feedback, particularly from people who do not use it what they'd like to see that might make them use it https://github.com/eedahl/wr-stats-rust/releases/
