Kuski of April 2004

Suggest questions and candidates.

axxu: This kuski is very good on several external contests. He came in a very good 4th place in the total standings of King Cup, and had a 2nd place as his best result on a single event. He has 17 ALP WRs and is leading the King Contest. He has come 2nd on five(!) consecutive KOM polls. Nowadays he's also leading the Mopo Kup.

Tantal: Together with his friend TorInge he has pretty much ruled the multi WR table for a long time, alongside Zweq & Juzam. Recently he and TorInge got 25 new multi WRs, putting their total up to 42. A few months ago he also showed his presence on the single's WR table, taking the record on Over and Under (DarMoeD had had the WR for over a year).

Ky.Jelly: Ky has done practically nothing in the scene involving elma skills, but he has been on the Mopolauta spreading his humour (and posts) since day one. He's also active to teh max (a famous phrase of his) on #across these days.

Viper_KillerGuy: Viper has probably made the most useful tool for the people in #battle next to the ballebot, and maybe more useful than that too. He was the first to make a public, one-hour uploading script. Other work he has made for the scene involves his ratemyrec and ratemylev scripts, and last but not least, his works with Moposite and the Kuski Gallery.

jx: This guy has two WRs, one of which he got in February. In Mopolauta's "New Internal Times" thread he's written some very nice times, and people are wondering just how good his total time is. It has to be around 38..

Michalit, because when you become 2nd place in KOM, you are automatically nominated for next KOM. it are the rules, and it's fair.
If axxu wasn't popular he wouldn't became 2nd after all.

EDIT: i just got in mind a thing, this is kuski of the month polls and still things the kuskis did years ago counts, so the only worthy winer i think is tantal cause he did somnething marvealous this month.

actually its nat really altogether based on what someone has acheive in that month, if you read Abula's comment in one of the old polls, you will see that he said, that its really about how deserves it, nat just who did something great in that month

I think there shouldn't be this poll every month. Maybe every half-year or 3 months.

Rex: it's not actually that hard to beat a dozen of recs even now imo. The real problem is that noone cares because it is hard to find 2 good kuskis livin close to each other.

Actually most of the multi recs are easily beatable

You just have to clone yourself so that you can break those recs

I kinda agree with what you're saying, but it's alot harder now than it was when we started playing multi. If you look at the 24mins and 25 mins limit breaks in combined total they were quite close (January and March 2003). Me & Tor and Zweq & Juzam pushed each other back then. We don't have much competition now.
I don't think it's possible to lower your combined total that fast anymore, but in multiplayer you can always improve most levels a couple of tenths. The point is that both players need a good run to get a good time. One lucky run isn't always enough to beat the wr, and that's what makes multiplayer fun and the wrs hard to beat.

You're more than welcome to try to beat some of our wrs. I would be cool to see KD & ToMo comeback on wr-table

Yeah, it is very hard to find 2 good kuskis livin close, but that is not a problem here in Kokkola

except IÂ´m not a good kuski, but still.

I think the biggest problem is to find so good keyboard that it wonÂ´t get jammed

.Zweq was lucky that he have his old comÂ´s keyb.
