Support the younger fellaz

Post by JeMsTaR »

Me again.

I just wanted to express an idea:

I think this game should have more divisions, for the younger n00bs. I got a TT of 55:xx , so i'd sorta be up there. But i'm talking about the n00bs here, maybe TT 1:30:xx and stuff. We should have comps for em and as they progress they'll rise in other divisions until they hit the big guns.

I'm pretty new to the community, but just by looking at replays and stuff, my TT dropped by about 20 mins, no joke! But even when i had a high TT, the only thing i could aim for was the 59:xx.

So who here thinks there should be more divisions for the little fellas so they got something to aim for, and have a little competition and rivalry between each other. Funny: little n00bs goin at it.

I think that almost (or every) n00b can get under 1 hour if they download some replays and testing some new styles.

But, maybe it's a good idea, though.

I actully think it would be much easier to have one cup for all and the noobs compare with eachother, because its allready very hard to get many participiators and if u restrict the cup to a certain gruop of kuskis then the cups would be even smaller, and not a at all as fun, that would lead to even less participiators.

Well, eml's Elasto Mania League was divided in 10 divisions, where each division was set up with players who were in about the same skill level (of course not completely, it was a hard task to do). This was an enormously fun competition, but sadly, it became much too much work for one person to handle, so it was left unfinished after the initiation season.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

There are already 45, 50 and 60 minute WR tables, but I dont think there are any n00b contests going on...there should be

profis are afraid of new n00bs coming so they don't want to teach them anything
n00bs should download old wrs styles from moposite
many of them are definitely easier than today's replays so they can help n00bs to get profis quite fast
it was much harder some years ago when there were only profi recs impossible to do same for n00bs
and those 45+ and 50+ tables can help to have motivation too

I would think it'll be cool to make a n00b community, but alot of work and i'm not familiar enough with the elastomania world. I might do it in the future.

But good point Juski,
if there were too many divisions there wouldn't be enuff ppl in the leagues...

and yeah, most of my skills came from watching other ppls replays, it helps alot :)

so maybe there could be a big n00b community/team/club in the future...sounds fun, a bunch of guys going at it, trying their hardest and they can't even finish headbanger

O and howdy revolt, Rocky fellow! I could almost reach out and grab u :) soz for the spammage, i wont do it again :(

Well I've always though it cool be cool to have an always ongoing compo like the thing EML did, with many divisions and stuff. Like in football.

Raider kinda started such a thing too in denmark ( http://www.mxb.dk/DBL/ ), with a battle league. That could be expanded, with a few (depending on which country) leagues in the elma country's and maybe a few for ppl in other country's with not so many kuskis.

I think it will be coolest with battles, and not kinda cups, with one week levels (dunno how EML's league was like).

And then maybe a champions league like in football, but maybe an international league so not only the best's will compete with ppl from other country's.

But dunno if there's enough kuskis for this ? :?
