Allowance of clipping"bugs"
i was just wondering:
to what extent is these clippin"bugs" allowed?
try watching the rec from the url below, if you dont know what i mean

because if you watch various replays (and this happens ALOT in elma, just not usually that much ^^^rec) you see this. i remember watching cheated wr (hang tight by dmd) where he got his head into the ground several times without dieing, and this was (at the time) accepted. of course it was far from this much. but imagine getting your head through a vertex/polygon, so you survived and was able to get the flower.
like if it happened in the steppes, and somebody miraculously got their head through the pole and finished in sickest time ever.
i dont expect that anybody will say this would be allowed (IF it happened).

It is just an animation bug. We have a program to check whether the head is inside or not.

well... it can be the case that if you came at a polygon with your head facing one way, you would die, but if you came at it exactly the same facing the other way, you would survive. So all Darm did was switch direction right before he died and so he gained a few millimetres of head space. you can see this easily with old mr wr replays on Steppes (13 sec with old style) where his head appears to go through the tip of the pole. this effect is also useful when driving pipes (or it can be very annoying)

ehm.... you can't take a flower or an apple through the wall I think... if your animation goes thru the wall, it is just the animation,the animation doesn't touch anything,that's why you don't die either.....sometimes it is funny how you take flower or you die when the animation is not even close to the polygon. Do you die in the end of your rec aavv for example or did you press esc ? You are not close to the polygon? if you died, can milagros see with his viewer that the head actually touch the polygon?
i thought your head was in same place when turned? i looked closely and i couldn't recognise a shift, but as the animation takes it's time i suppose i missed it. my warm up rec (14.40) has my head going through tip of second bump. usually i die there with my head almost a centimetre away, so i thought it was just balancing things out...(actually i thought about the head moving thing, so i tested it)
