Jackie Brown 8.5/10

I really like it! it's fun and intelligent! I added it to my favourite movies list. The actors are very good, it stars actors like Samuel L. Jackson Robert Forster etc. And of course, it's a Quentin Tarantino movie!

Weak 8, I'm being generous. Good actors and nice story but the fightingscenes were pretty lame. (Do they still hit chickens and turkeys in sound fx-studio?)

Burn after Reading is SUCH a great movie! or it seemed like a great movie. A friend downloaded it and ten minutes from the end it crashed. So I have no idea how it ends. Brad Pitt is so great in this film. I personally give it 8/10.

But I think that even if people think that the movie sucks, it should still be watched because of Brad Pitt's appearance :D so I think you should change that 3 to a 5 ;)

Burn After Reading is absolutely hilarious.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?

Ye Brad Pitt's character was max but the movie was only semifunny, not really my type of humour. All Coen's movies that I've seen have all had some weird humour. Not a fan.

I Am Legend - 9.5/10

It was really an amazing movie for me. Thrilling, moving... again first-class play of Will Smith and incredible music by James Newton Howard made this movie one of the best I've ever seen! Probably many of you don't/won't like it because it's boring etc... I warn you, it's not a party-action-movie, but you have to see it!

Requiem For a Dream - 9/10

I enjoyed this film very much, but I'm afraid the music itself made this movie so great in my mind, because Clint Mansell made an artwork of the soundtrack! Nevertheless, Imo the story is interesting and absorbing, also whole film is max nicely recorded and mixed. It definitely has my recommendation!

i am legend was shit. 5 max.

Raging Bull - 8/10
Well played, Mr Deniro. would have been more fitting if his brother didn't talk to him at the end.

The Bucket List - 6/10
just a nice movie. they looked quite aged.

Chopper - 7/10
a movie that shouldn't but is loved by many australians. <3 Eric Bana, ez from my suburb.

hmm watched a fair few movies since last post, cant really remember though.

Death Note: The Last Name - 6/10

Terminator Salvation - 4/10
i even thought T3 was better, very disappointing. would like to mention what is so disappointing but would probably spoil it. Felt like transformers + war of the worlds + auschwitz. max cliche action crappy movie.

Choke (2008): 9/10 (trailer)
The movie has a quite humorous, at the same time kinda sad/pathetic, feel to it. It's very enjoyable. You'll probably laugh a good part of the movie and feel like dropping a tear at some moment (but it might not come down). The movie has no real action but still has a good rythm, i don't remember feeling bored at any moment during the movie. I would suggest it to anyone who enjoys the trailer. The book is said to be better, i haven't read it. From the same author that brought us Fight Club. (Bit of nudity and adult content, i would not suggest to a young audience)

The thing (1982): 10/10 (trailer)
80s horror movie at its best! I loved every aspect of this movie. The intro was intriguing, great building up of the suspense and awesome special effects! Don't have much to say on this movie, i loved it!

American Psycho (2000) : 10/10 (Rated R for strong violence, sexuality, drug use and language. )
I have watched this movie quite a few times now and i simply can't find anything bad about it. While being one of the coldest character in history of cinema (ok, maybe not that cold but he is quite), i just love enterely this Patrick Bateman (played by Christian Bale). He represents so perfectly today's upper-class elite. The film is not intented for kids and should not be watched by kids for the simple reason that they wouldn't understand the movie's purpose. Great movie, intelligent, funny to a certain degree, awesome! If you haven't seen it, i highly recommend it.

A quote that very well describes the movie better than i could possibly express would be the following:
Patrick Bateman (narrating): I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.
