Hmm this has died down. I guess, now that Abula is back, talk of GAA can start again :)

Don't know if it's needed to be that specific.

We don't need any "turkey" awards.

BarTek wrote: btw i think this sux cuz the moment came an went, what was omg achievement in jan-feb 04 is forgotten now and new stuff instead will be awarded. Kinda unfair if some new rookie came and was the center of attention back when GAA should have been, now instead there is new guy getting the cred. Or maybe its fair what do i know
Only some thinking is what's required :)
BarTek wrote: Btw was there a GAA 2003 or 2002? dont rememberz eh
There was one for 2002-feb2003.

'Contribution to teh elma scene' was a good one from last time...cos I was nominated...
But I cant wait for this years awards (if there are some). They should be really good

ok a word from me ok.

1) nominees
- more at least, man there are huge bunch of things one can achieve - like best internalist, best WR, best battler, best externalist, best personal site, best team, best improving, best rookie/veteran, best comeback, etc.

2) judging
- imo, at first there should be jury with about 8-10 people making the nominees and people for voting. then they make up the polls and everybody votes (i hope those russian mongos wont come and vote for other russians again, stupiiid).

3) time
- starts - October maybe? man maybe its too quick but this year of course.
- ends (polls) - 2-3 months after would be goad.

Well IMO 15 awards would be about max.

2-3 months? Seriously, that seems just like too much. Personally, I liked the previous system, but it may not have given so much power to the community votes as some would have wanted.

I think a secret voting system would be best. We can all vote but not see the results. Like in the DDE(?)
