I really hate slow automatic doors. Really. You walk towards them, and the closer you get, the more you start worrying it won't open at all. So you slow down, and then a microsecond later it opens! But since you slowed down, you now have to accelerate again to re-gain the speed you had before. Had the door just opened half a second earlier you wouldn't have had to slow down at all! This really grinds my gears. It's one of those small things that annoy the crap out of me. This retardation followed by the acceleration probably costs me 1 second a week! Now ponder all doors worked perfectly. Then I would save almost a minute a year! Just imagine what I could be doing that minute! I could be learning at least 5 new words, or perhaps do that one extra sum before the test, or perhaps sleep! That's it. The next time I come in one minute late, I'm blaming faulty automatic doors.

i used to have confidence in our school automatic doors, they once worked a charm, opening almost instantly once you got within a metre of it, however now they are tired and old, and i find myself slowing down after several intimate experiences with them, Bah. i waste a minute a day on them. think about it, thats nearly 6 hours a year!

My roommate spending 15 mins doing I-don't-know-what with the sink 10 cm from my bed. I'm not sure if he shaves everyday (come on, even I don't do that with my megabeard), if he brushes his teeth 4 times in a row or if he just spams water for fun, but I receive very small yet very cold drops in my face. Annoying at 6:50 am when you try to get that 30 more minutes of sleep before your course at 8. VERY MUCH ANNOYING.
