Norway the best nation at internals? No.

One look at the Nations TT records list would give the impression that Norway is the best nation at internals. This, I believe, is unfair, and so thought you might find it interesting that, according to my measure, Norway is in fact 3rd best.

I call it 'National Average TT' measure - the average of the ten best TTs in a country. This, I felt, was a much fairer way to consider which nation has the best internalists overall. The results were as follows:

1. Finland - 39:04
2. Sweden - 39:58
3. Norway - 40:01

Sorry Norwegians, you're not even close

Because Finland has more good players. It's unfair that Norway, which has (relatively) much worse players gets to claim credit as #1 just because of one very very good player. Players with 40+ tt shouldn't be allowed to gloat over players with 38tt just because somebody else in their country has done all the work for them.

There is still only one internal level that should only be in those stats and that is Warm Up.
WR holder=Karlis ---> Finland wins,second in the list is who? tor?
if that is so,Norway is the 2nd and so on...

norway have 86 players
finland have 144 players
Thats quite alot more.

so you should find out how many peoples have sent in their state.dat to moposite in each nation, then find out how much is 10% of those, then try calculate, well i dunno but i think that should make a more precisse calculation since finladn have so many players! :->

After a few very interesting hidden calculations Sierra will finally find out that Great Britain is the best nation followed by Paraguay and that he was playing under an alias "pajen" back then for some reason.

But cersiouyl you can always think of different ways to calculate who is best, for example let me counter danielj's argument with the following:

Finns Under 40TT = (12/144) = 8.33%
Norwegians Under 40TT = (4/86) = 4.65%
Swedes Under 40TT = (4/138) = 2.90 %

But then he can reply with:

Finns Under 38TT = (1/144) = 0.69%
Norwegians Under 38TT = (1/86) = 1.16%
Swedes Under 38TT = (2/138) = 1.45%

So it's perhaps futile, does this mean Sweden is best? Maybe. But then consider that Great Britain has a higher percentage of Kuskis Under 40TT (4.54%).

Let's leave it at Finland is the winner oki.

i was thinking which countries are best after sweden, finland, and norway?

i will present some stats here, in order of nation total times (btw, did you notice that on mopolauta's record page the nation's top time list is listed under nationalities). the stats are as following, if one player has under 39, and one is under 40, it means they are two players under 57.

norway has 1 player under 37, 2 players under 39, 4 players under 40, 7players under 41, 10 players under 42, at least 50 players under 55.
finland has 1 player under 38, 2 players under 39, 12 players under 40, 16 players under 41, 23 players under 42, at least 50 players under 47.
sweden has 2 players under 38, 4 players under 40, 13 players under 41, 17 players under 42, at least 50 players under 47.
russia has 1 player under 39, 3 players under 40, 6 players under 41, 7 players under 42, at least 50 players under 54
hungary 1 player under 39, 2 players under 40, 7 players under 41, 12 players under 42, 43 players under 66 minutes
canada 2 players under 40, 3 players under 42, 25 players under 78 minutes.
poland 1 player under 39, 4 players under 42, 17 players under 68.
cze 1 under 40, 4 under 41, 6 under 42, 45 under 91.
denmark has 2 players under 40, 3 players under 41, 25 players under 65

.
canada, poland and czech, .
slovakia has only one player under 45, milagros (under 40), which is 10th total country. britiain players under 42.

so this is my list of best order:

finland - has the most world class players, most pro's, and most good players
sweden - sweden is close after finland in all categories, and has 2 of the top 4 world's best players
norway - has the best player, many world class and pro players
hungary - with quite many pro players
russia - some of pro players
denmark - many good players
canada, poland, czech, all have more than just one really good player
britian 3 pro players
australia 2 pro
slovakia, although better total than brit and aus, has only one pro, milagros, total under 40.
